When I checked in, I asked about the pool/ spa. Was told it was down for maintenance. Was not told up front. Walked into first room, instantly smelled like mildew. Thought it might just be the air conditioner but as I took my shoes off I noticed the carpet was wet. Then noticed the bottom of the curtain was wet. Went to the front desk and she reassigned me to a new room. Got settled in and realized this room had a bathtub! Went to use it but there was NO plug. Decided to lay down and watch TV. Remote would turn it on and off. It would play the basic screen for the hotel but would not allow me to enlarge screen, go to the guide, change channels, etc. Next morning I reported it and was told the internet was down due to storm that came through. That was not the case, because I was there many hours before the storm came through. The GM said they were working on the internet. So I waited. They appeared to get the internet up and going on their computers as I approached them again and said it is still not working and doesn’t appear to be an internet issue. I showed him what it was doing on the tv near by and he said he would have someone call me at the room. Nobody ever called or came by to even see if it was a simple issue they could address. There were several small issues with my stay that seem small but added up to not being a good experience. I felt like I was just given one excuse after another.
