Mostly very good, as expected from the Grand Hotel. Only negatives were that the room was too warm (no aircon and window only opened a couple of inches), and the gym/swimming pool were very busy with outside users (in fairness, it was the weekend) to the point of discouraging us from partaking.

Fint hotell i äldre stil fin miljö med jättebra läge, nästa till centrum av Malahide. Ttrevlig och hjälpsam personal och fint rum. Det enda som saknades var en AC , men det kan man inte begära i en gammal byggnad och att vi är vana vid svalare temperatur i sovrummet. Överlag var det en mycket trevlig vistelse i Malahide på ett fint hotell med nära avstånd till allt.

Great location within the beautiful town of Malahide. The town is endowed with many nice restaurants and has a beautiful promenade on the bay. Hotel is in the center of town and has its own drinking and dining options. Renovations were almost complete during our stay.

Love the new decor but the room was too hot even in Sept and the fan didn’t cool it( no a/c). Also the round about way to get to a room on floor 5 required a map and 2 elevators or stairs and an elevator, very confusing ( had to help about 5 people in the hall find the way during my short stay) and inconvenient. Some of the food could be better.
