I stayed at the hotel for a week, and this was my second visit. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet the standards I expected based on my previous stay.
1. Housekeeping and Bed Linen Issue
Three days into my stay, I requested a change of bed sheets through the app provided at check-in. Despite leaving the message, the sheets were not changed. I then called the reception and asked again, but nothing happened. Later, I approached the reception in person, asked to speak with the manager, and was informed that the manager was unavailable. I explained the situation politely and was reassured the issue would be addressed—yet even the following day the bed sheets were still not changed.
This was disappointing and reflected a lack of communication and oversight from management rather than a single staff member’s mistake. Only after speaking with a guest relations representative—whose name I unfortunately did not catch precisely, something like “Doreen”—the issue was resolved immediately. Her professionalism stood out, and I appreciate her assistance.
2. Room Cleaning Standards
The housekeeping service throughout my stay was inconsistent. The room attendant often appeared unmotivated: dust remained on surfaces, and the bathroom floor was sometimes left dirty. It felt as though the quality of cleaning depended on his mood. Considering that this is not a budget hotel, I expected consistent, high-quality service without having to repeatedly request it.
