It was okay but nothing great

The bed was very comfy and the location was convenient. The staff were not super friendly but we only needed them for check in and check out. The only big complaint I had was about the AC not getting the room cool and that the shower water was lukewarm at max.

The hotel was very clean, staff were friendly. We arrived around 9pm and there was only one staff member around. When I got into my room I found there was no TV remote so I tried to call down to reception, but the phone didn't work. I then called reception with my cell and there was no answer. I went down to reception and no one was there. I waited about 10 minutes and the staff member returned from doing other tasks. She immediately got me a remote and I was all set. It is a concern that the phones weren't working as if there was an emergency you had no way to contact anyone.

Disappointed

The elevators were out of service, and unfortunately, management did not notify me. When I inquired at the front desk, they asked if management had contacted me about the issue, to which I replied in the negative. This was a disappointing experience, especially considering that this location is one of my favorites.

Do not book this hotel through Hotels.com. I paid for my reservation and when I showed up at 11:30 pm, they did not have a room for me. I had to scramble and find another hotel.

Excellent Stay, But Noise Was a Problem

We had a great time at this hotel. The place itself is beautiful, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The food was also fantastic with a great variety of options. However, the noise from the room above was a significant issue. On both nights, we could hear every single step the guests above us took. It was a very loud and disruptive experience. I've stayed in many hotels, but I've never experienced this level of noise from another room. I'm not sure if it's a design flaw in the building, but the lack of comfort due to the constant noise really impacted our sleep and overall experience.

Nice & Clean

The hotel was nice and clean. I really wish someone would have called us beforehand to let us know the elevator was broken. We carried all of our stuff up to the second floor with 2 kiddos in tow. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and no swimming pool to my knowledge. Just something to keep in mind when entertaining kiddos. Overall a decent stay for the price we paid.
