Upon arriving the front desk employee was either sleepy or high on something! (Maria) I believe was her name. She did not great me or say Hello or even ask how can I help you, like normal Customer service reps. I got checked in and my room keys, go up to the room and it had NOT been cleaned! I go back downstairs and have to deal with a unenergetic employee. She then proceeded to contact someone by phone I assume housekeeping the convo was in Spanish. She then informed me that they will come and clean it. I asked for another room because I was tired and didn't to wait and hour while they cleaned the room! Keep in mind I arrived and checked in at like 10pm. The room should have been cleaned already and all day, but it wasn't and she said there were no more available rooms!
So I had to wait the hour while they cleaned the room. Once it was cleaned and I got into the room it was fine.
i travel A LOT for work, kids sports, and with my sorority chapter. This is the ABSOLUTE 1ST I experienced service like this, starting the check in!
The front desk worker needs a class on customer service and greeting!
