Hello, we booked a villa and were quite disappointed with the room itself. While it was very spacious, it felt rather empty. There was no proper duvet cover — just two flat sheets wrapped around the duvet. Overall, the value for money was quite poor. The bathroom was extremely basic.
We were also disappointed with the service in our first villa, where the shower had no running water. When we reported the issue, the manager (or person in charge at the time) came over, visibly annoyed, and told us that the tap water was working fine, even though we were clearly referring to the shower. We had to insist that it was not normal to have no water at all.
The hotel was very quiet because it was low season, with only a few guests, yet there seemed to be plenty of staff. Unfortunately, they were not very attentive to us . They were all very kind, and I feel bad pointing this out, but with so few people in the hotel, one would expect a server to be consistently present in the restaurant area.
That being said, our intention is not to make a harsh complaint, but to provide constructive feedback. At this price point ($450 per night), we would expect the room and service to be impeccable.
On a positive note, the hotel environment is very pleasant, full of greenery, and we truly enjoyed this aspect of our stay. We sincerely hope this feedback will be taken into account, as the potential of the place is undeniable.
