I had high hopes for this hotel based on the pictures & previous reviews. The customer service was great, the room felt clean & newly renovated, but that's where it stopped. The room had an awkward layout, the ceiling fans cool lighting made the room feel like an office building, there were nails coming through the wall & the furniture looked like it was second hand. My biggest complaint was the old blood stain on my pillow & the TV didn't have any channels available unless you signed into your personal Netflix, Disney+, etc. We could also hear guests staying several rooms away, the hall echos every noise. To top it off, the police showed up as I was checking us out the next day. Lesson learned, pay a little bit more to stay at a higher rated hotel next time.

This was a good trip untill the end. I got a text from someone that started telling me that they were going to call the cops on me, have me charged with who knows what. But i found out they are accusing me of stealing and as they say " destroying the blankets and towels" when lall they had to do was put them through the heavy-duty wash. Like i said it was a good trip till I started getting texts from them accusing me of stealing. I would say just go somewhere else unless you like to be accused of doing something that you did not do. And not to mention they day they started accusing me was the day that we were co-hosting our friends celbration of life and did no need that extra stress.

Reserved a non smoking room but when checked in, the room smelled. Stayed two nights. First day/night, opens all windows and door to try to get smell out but it didn’t work. Asked/texted to change rooms but no response.

This hotel was a less expensive option for us to stay in the area for a wedding. Staff was accommodating to us arriving late and arranged for a key to be left for us in a lock box since the front desk would be closed at the time of our arrival. Breakfast was just meh—pastries were left out and dried out. Maybe they should be put in a covered container? The room did not have black out curtains which affected our sleep. The TV didn’t work initially—we had to figure out how to re-enter the correct WiFi password to make the internet TV actually connect. Parking was easy and secure. The surrounding area is sleepy and quiet—it was a relaxing weekend.

This quaint hotel has super clean rooms and lobby! I felt safe as a single woman traveling, it was quiet, and the breakfast was very delicious. The night manager was very accommodating when I needed to move my room to a first floor due to the lack of an elevator.

Great stay! Breakfast was not bad. There was sausage, hash browns, eggs, toast, muffins, bagels, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. I just wish there were more fresh fruit. Room is very spacious, comfy, and clean. Overall, we were happy with our stay! We would stay at the hotel again.

Our visit was nice. Room was adequate. Ceiling fan is a plus. Bed is comfortable. Great convenience to have hot breakfast available. Would be nice to have fresh fruit as an option. (Suggestion) Only disappointment would be the TV , WiFi is always buffering, we were unable to complete any show or movie we tuned in to view. Very unfortunate considering we were there for three nights. We will definitely return and also highly recommend Florinos Mexican Restaurant across the street.

Cyndie & a nice gentleman checked me into the hotel. He gave me some fantastic restaurant recommendations & after a 20 mile bike ride, the hamburger at Eddie's Grill across the street was delicious. He also gave me some ideas for things to see the following day. At his recommendation, I went and saw La Purisima, the mission in Lompoc. It was the most restored mission I've ever seen. It was wonderful. I went on a two hour tour with the Park Ranger and got a real idea of how life was back then. Parking was easy and right in front of my room. The breakfast was good with an egg choice, sausage, many choices for bread, juices, and coffee. The room was super comfortable clean and the bed was nice and firm. I had a pleasant day at the Inn at Highway 1 and we're definitely return. The staff and the entire experience were very pleasant.

Was great! Loved the breakfast. One of the bathroom lights was out and the Kleenex box was empty. The Kleenex was replaced within an hour but the light was not fixed for the 3 days.

Clean room, but no rugs to give it softness and warmth. Technically everything worked and was clean, but it felt a little stark. Ants in the bathroom on day two. Bathroom vent was covered in dust. No tissues in tissue box. First day housekeeping didn't show up until late afternoon and by then we were napping so we passed on a cleaning. Last day they knocked to clean around 930am, before we were even checked out. On checkout day housekeeping should wait until folks are gone, not knock while we're still there. There was also a shady 911 domestic violence incident in our room next door we had to call the police. Maybe not Management's fault but it was two rooms of people and screaming and yelling at 2 & 3am.
