our stay was better than expected because we read some bad reviews before checking in. rooms are clean and quiet. however, hallways and elevator smell like an old building. there is a gate to the parking garage which makes you nervous that the area is not safe, although we didn't see anything unsafe. overall not a bad place to stay. Had a great weekend stay at the Senator. Yoy want to stay on the 5th floor or above. Staff are all very friendly. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Great free breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, sausages, home fries, toast, yogurt and juice. A lobby bar/restaurant would have been a bonus, but not a reason to not stay here. I would definately stay at The Senator again.
