Nice Sonder hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Amsterdam Sonder. It is situated in a very convenient location, within walking distance of major city landmarks, museums, restaurants, and other attractions. We stayed in a Standard room, which had a relatively spacious layout, good internet, a nice coffee machine, and more. We would stay here again.

Great location

Unusual concept with minimal staff interaction. Not a full service hotel. No restaurant or bar on site. Newer lobby and lounge area. and Larger peaceful courtyard garden with sun, native plantings, sofas, seating areas under trees. Unbeatable location. Safe. Bathrooms older, furniture and finishes in the room a bit worn. Clean.

Glorified hostel

The staff was lovely. Arguably the best thing about this hotel. We were served complimentary coffee and received great tips for were to get a stroopwaffle. But the room left much to be desired and was a far cry from the photos shown in the website. There was thick dust under the beds, mold on many of the bathroom tiles as there is no ventilation in the toilet. The bathroom sink was clogged and slow to drain, coffee maker broken, scuffs and marks on the wall and an overgrown courtyard out the window with visible junk off to the side. Manual press elevator, and the TV requires you sign into a streaming service or there is no media. No greeter or bellman to assist with luggage. Quick flight of stairs to the top where there is a key pad for entry which is good for safely. The quietness of the hotel and neighborhood was perfect. It’s quite walkable to the desirable neighborhoods in the city and right by a beautiful park. Location suburb. Ambiance, cleanliness, and amenities, pretty bottom of the barrel. Overall I would not recommend staying here until you have no other options

Hotel não tem café da manhã. Quartos não tem frigobar. Se quiser uma pedra de gelo tem que comprar no supermercado. Nao tem estacionamento. Banheiros sem Box. Quarto pequeno

A good stay. Not perfect

Nice receptionarea with comfortable furniture and atmosphere. Cozy backyard with loungefurniture. Didnt like the room on 1st floor with a view into a wall(standard doubleroom). Better cleaning would be nice. A bit dusty. Wall-to-wall carpet is not good either… Good location and friendly staff. Very good beds and pillows! Overall a good stay. I like the app!
