Wonderfully surprised for our first HH visit. Our accommodations were beyond awesome, King apartment with a “loft” and at an amazing over night “rate” as well. Location and breakfast were great, plans to stay for a week at Palmer’s Inn & Resort in the Spring!

Buyers beware! My husband and I, an elderly couple who stayed for one night, were charged extra for a dog -- even though I told the front desk clerk when we checked in that we did not have one. In fact, we have never ever owned a dog! When we saw the extra charge on our credit card and told Hotels.com about it, they contacted the hotel -- and the hotel claimed they saw us with a dog and refused to refund the pet charge. Be VERY careful with this outfit and be sure to scrutinize your receipts!

The only things that weren’t to my liking is that I found mold around the shower handle on our last morning. Also, the beds weren’t comfortable at all. I was sssooo happy to get back to my bed. My hips were achy bc the bed had no cushion .

The service was good. the room was quiet and clean. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable since I sleep on a soft mattress at home. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door which did not close tightly; thus, noise and light would be emitted. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and pans, etc.

Staff was great with friendly smiles as we walked it but the room I have always rented a suite from every hotel I stayed at I feel for a 3 star hotel it's only 30-40 more for more room comfort and some have had jetted tubs. I wished I could afford a presidential one but the suite at Palmera was the best I've EVER stayed in even tho only slept in the bed and watched TV downstairs so much room and I checked the dishes to see if they were clean which they looked new if I were to have any complaints it would be both doors to the bathrooms didn't have locks the one in loft didnt close all the way due to the handle sliding thing was stuck inside but still no lock and the door downstairs only slid open and shut. The eggs at breakfast to my opinion wasn't done or just was to cold for my wife and I. It was def worth it tho bc it's like a mini 1br apartment

*My Loft Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. *Staff was friendly, especially the breakfast staff. *The grounds were pretty, surrounded by beautiful, fragrant trees, and the neighborhood allowed for quiet, safe and invigorating walks.
