The first day I arrive the television and the air condition wasn’t working properly. It took them a whole 24 hours and a room change for it to be resolved, and I was only there from Thursday to Saturday. For the most part, my vacation for the length of time I was there was nice because of my company. The staff at the front desk was very rude. The cleaning staff and and the maintenance gentleman were awesome.

Relaxing vacation

It was nice amd not to busy. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were so relaxed and got plenty ofcrest. Thecshops wetevvery closexby., also the beach. Food was nice but wished they had more choice of simple caribbean food sich as Hardoughbread rather than rice..

Live agent & current Hotel .com #'s not available

Problem at checkin. My prepaid overnight stay has not been sent to property, & U couldnt reach a live agent to sort it out with front desk. I went ahead & paid again for the night. Tell me how to receive refund for the prepaid on line paymebt U made. I have stayed at Tobys many times in the last 14 years or so. Excellebt staff in restaurant & security. Glitch in reservation confirmation

Authentic Montego bay

I've stayed in the resorts in Jamaica but when I travel with newbies and want them to see, taste and experiance authentic Jamaica we stay at Toby's . Its central to everything and tours for excursions pick up from the hotel as well. We always have a great time.

Nothing works

Ive stayed at the hotwl before but this time.it was completely horrible. I booked a smoking room with 2 beds for 300 Canadian dollars ..... when we cchecked in we oaid almoat 400 CDN DOLLARS, and was given a room with 1 king sozd bed ro share with my friend. I had to complain and notifiy thwm this is not what i booked and requwst a room wirh 2 beds. We were given a room with 2 beds and 1 wifi code which stated that it would bw good for 3 days after 2 hrs the code didnt work nor did the TV we stayed for 2 days and over the course off the 2 days the only thing that worked was the AC UNIT, the pillow cadrs were dirty as.well and we notified and called for someone to come and check the tv after 24 hrs they got it to work or 10 mins after that the tv wouldnt stay connected to the wifi long enough to even watch a commercial. After i took to Hotels.com and launched a complainant and i was told due to paying at the property there was nothing they could do to help with the stay i wvwn tried to complain on 1 morning and i was told to come back Hotels.com said they were also told to call back. Not happy at all will never stay at Tobys again !!!!!

A nice break

Tobys is nice, a little dated, gym needs equipment changing, but its a nice place, staff are friendly and nice. The restaurant had lovely cooked food and has good service.

Exceptional customer service at check in and check out. 24 hr security and very friendly and helpful gentleman who runs a shuttle service (not included in price). Lovely grounds, very clean. Wonderful breakfast (not included in price; slightly overpriced). Doctor’s cave beach just a short walk. Wonderful experience overall, highly recommend. Please do not forget your mosquito repellent!
