When I checked in, the front desk agent was very friendly and quickly got me set up with a room key. When I went up to the room, it hadn’t been cleaned and the beds weren’t made. I went back downstairs and she was very apologetic, then reassigned me to another room. The second room was better, but there was quite a bit of hair in the restroom. I understand it can be hard to catch every little detail, but this was noticeable. I was only staying one night and usually bring flip-flops to shower in hotels, so it wasn’t a major issue for me. I didn’t try the breakfast since I decided to sleep in, but I did notice housekeeping knocking on my door around 9am even though checkout isn’t until noon.

Upon check-in the front desk agent wasn’t able to help or understand with a hotels.com booking and which card would be charged, she said she needed the manager named Morgan to figure it out the next morning. We needed bed clothes for the pull out bed the night of our stay and called down to the front desk and was told, sure they’ll be up shortly. 30 mins later I went down to the front desk and the night agent is sitting there assisting a guest so I waited and when it was my turn I explained what I was looking for and she said oh yes, I wrote that down but another guest brought me a necklace to untangle and I’ve been doing that. Really poor customer service. The tile in the pool room is super slick when wet. Not safe at all. Shock if there’s no lawsuit about it. Prob won’t be back to this location. We usually like Holiday Inn Express locations but not this one.

The whole hotel was under construction. We were not told about this while making the reservation. The fitness room was closed the entire stay (we were there 3 nights). The room never had house keeping service. We could hear EVERY step they people above us took. The fridge froze all of our drinks & my energy drink even exploded omside of it.

Staff was courteous. Room well, no coffee machines in the rooms. You had to go down to the office to ask for one. Also the room we had was 2 beds and a pull out sofa. There were no extra pillows, blankets, or sheets we had to go down to the office to get those as well. Breakfast was decent. And the pool and hot tub were nice.

Staff was nice. Cleanliness of the bathroom inside our room could of used some work. The guys that we doing the painting/remodeling whete outside throwing stuff in the big dumpster pretty late at night was difficult to get the kids to sleep.

From the moment we walked in the hotel the front desk agent was less than helpful and had awful customer service. We had specifically requested a conjoining room with our friends that were staying there as well. When checking in I asked if it room was conjoining and the lady said there was no way she could check the notes and see that we requested that. I told her that is what I wanted since that is what I requested. The clerk told me we could take care of it tomorrow and I said "no", "we will take care it now ". The pool closes promptly at 10pm so if you want to swim later better guess again. Our refrigerator in the room froze my drinks and they exploded. Our friend in the other room, theirs was not even plugged in and everything in it went bad. There was trash underneath the bed frame as well. Breakfast ends promptly at 10am and they will shut the lights off on you even if you are still in the breakfast area. I had to request several food items to be refilled. I requested more scrambled eggs to be made but he said since breakfast was almost over he want going to. ( I had been down at breakfast for 20 minutes and the eggs were low even then). They then proceeded to shut everything down promptly at 10 am and closed the door off and shut the lights off. I have never felt so rushed out of an area in all of my stays at other hotels. The only positive experience was once we talked with the manager and she genuinely apologized for everything and tried to make up for our experience
