First of all, I want to clearly state that I am not an all inclusive traveler. This was only my 3rd time at an all inclusive. I stayed for 6 days so I did get a complete feel of the offerings. The cost of this resort verses the quality did not measure up. Staying at a local hotel and buying the food I would have wanted would cost less than half per day than Dreams. Inside my room did not feel fancy at all, the toilet seat not well attached-slid all around, the doors creaked, the furniture was dirty. Bed however, quite comfortable with nice sheets. The alcohol was bottom shelf and seemed watered down. Food was not exciting at all, nothing memorable except that theres plenty of it. There is no beach/ocean use as the seaweed is overtaking the resort. It is a coast wide issue, but as the whole coast has resorts, why not use some of the ill gained profits and sweep it up? So there are only 2 pools to choose from, a huge one for families and a smaller one for adults, a term which probably needs definition at a place like this. There is also a waterslide, which seemed to be lots of fun. Any further activities will cost you extra and will be done off property. The training for employees is excellent. Every service worker was kind and tried to ensure the guests happiness. The wedding I attended was orchestrated very well, was very well planned and was an excellent time.

Though the staff was friendly. I had multiple issues with room service getting order wrong and on 1 occasion waited over 2 hours for room service. Couldn’t use the beach because of the seaweed & every day of my 5 night stay at least one if not 2 of the restaurants were closed at an all inclusive. Also pools close at 5pm with at least 3 hours left of sun especially with the beach being unusable is really horrible. On a scale of 1-10 the food was a 6 at best.

What can I say about Dreams Sapphire? It holds a special place in my heart because my husband and I got married there! We have been there a total of 3 times and we love it just as much each time. The property is stunning, and the staff is amazing! We've been to a lot of all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and I think the food here is better than most! We ate the buffet for most meals and it was always good. The Italian restaurant is amazing as well! The pool is so much fun! The entertainment team is awesome at what they do! They keep everyone entertained and engaged with music and games. And we love the swim up bar of course. 10/10 recommend! Can't wait til next time!

Mayormente el hotel está “bien”, tiene buena vista, buena playa y buenos cuartos, pero tiene varias deficiencias que en lo personal no logré adaptarme. Tienen una atención a cliente promedio rayando en lo malo, personal haciendo muecas, no saben en la mayoría de las veces en cómo hablarle a los clientes, no fueron todos los trabajadores pero si en su mayoría. Personal del hotel entrando a la habitación sin consultar si no hay nadie dentro, limpieza deficiente en algunas áreas de las habitaciones, me tocó tener una lagartija y dos cucarachas en el cuarto como si no estuviera fumigado o limpio, personal de ventas inoportuno hablando por teléfono a tempranas horas de la mañana a la habitación para ver si nos convencimos de aceptar una plática, alimentos que deben de estar fríos estaban calientes y los calientes estaban muy fríos.El precio por el cual se paga no es equivalente a la atención que obtuvimos, pocos trabajadores y pocos detalles fueron rescatables pero aún así sigue sin ser aceptable.

My family and I became ill for the duration of our stay, likely due to something we ate or drank. By the end of the trip, we were only consuming bottled water, canned drinks and bread and rice. Unfortunately, this made the vacation quite unpleasant, as we were frequently unwell and had to make constant trips to the bathroom. We were there to attend a wedding, and many other guests reported experiencing similar symptoms. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room was barely functional—room temperatures stayed around 24.5 to 25°C most days, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. We've stayed at other Dreams resorts in the past, but this one was, by far, the most disappointing. While the lobby was beautiful, the kids club was great, and the pool was spacious, these positives were overshadowed by the overall experience. The restaurant food was just average, and the buffet options were lacking in both freshness and variety. The breakfast offerings were nearly identical every day, which became tiresome over the course of the week.

Overall a really good experience. Everything was very clean, good food, spa was really nice, staff very friendly. Cons were the beach was so full of seaweed it was basically unusable. They'll say they remove it but the week we were there they only cleared one small area and that was bc a wedding was happening right in front of that area. The hotel next door we saw clearing their beach multiple times. The rooms are clean, but could use some repairs. Ceiling in our room started dripping water at one point, but maintenance responded quickly and resolved the issue.

Unfortunately, my experience at this resort has been quite disappointing. The property is poorly maintained, and the photos on their website are clearly outdated. I’ve never been to a beach resort where the pool is the preferred over the beach. The beach was filled with seaweed. The beach was nearly empty throughout the three days I was here. Service has also been underwhelming, with the exception of Carlos at the Preferred pool area, who was courteous and attentive. Having stayed at several Dreams Resorts in the Cancun area, I can confidently say this is by far the worst one. As an Expedia VIP, I was not acknowledged at check-in and received none of the benefits I was entitled to. On my 2nd day, I went to the Barefoot Grill at 4:37 p.m. to request a hotdog. Wendy told me the grill was closed—even though it doesn’t close until 5 p.m. Only after I reminded her of the posted hours did she serve me. The food overall was disappointing and not on par with the quality I’ve experienced at other Dreams properties. However, I’ll say Bordeaux was good and it is the best restaurant onsite. The rooms were outdated and need of upgrades. My smoke detector flashed continuously throughout the night, and when I reported it, I was told it was “normal.” Try sleeping with a flashing light in your room all night. I was also told by Victor that I’d receive a welcome amenity and a birthday sash for my door, which I never received. If you’re considering this resort, be prepared for lower quality.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The place itself was very nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed.

The property is nice , people are very friendly , me and my husband traveled by ourselves, we expect a better show and entertainment, but was a nice stay … we paid extra for the premium . But I didn’t see any difference , the ocean was very dirty and smell really bad ( but I know that is not something that the hotel can control ) I liked to come back to my room and have a little surprise, this was a very nice!
