The lobby is welcoming, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant also offers plenty of great food and drink options. Unfortunately, once you head upstairs, the experience changes. The rooms feel outdated, with a noticeable mildew smell and cleanliness concerns. The phones didn’t work, the WiFi was unreliable, and the bathrooms are very small—more like what you’d expect in a roadside motel. The hallway carpet was also in poor condition.
We’ve stayed here for years before cruises and haven’t noticed a single upgrade in that time, which is disappointing given the price point. For what we paid, we expected a more comfortable, well-maintained stay.
