This is my favorite place to stay in Tucson. The property is set up like individual, southwest casitas with a few rooms sharing their own outdoor courtyard. The rooms are large, feeling more like a studio apartment than a hotel and have rustic feel to them. The bed was super comfy and the towels are even thicker than most places I stay for business - such a treat.

The grounds at the Lodge were very well kept. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, but lacking a microwave. This is an important omission for anyone with special diet needs, or to simply reheat a cup of coffee. The breakfast was simple but well made. However, expect to pay over $20 if you leave a gratuity, for being served coffee or a beverage. The rest of the breakfast is a self-serve buffet. We enjoyed our stay, but not 5 stars.
