Everything was great other than no food. We planned on eating the burgers for dinner and the breakfast the next morning. We did not bring food with us because of that. Weather or lack of patrons at the park were not factors. The decision of no food was made early and after we checked in. Had to scramble and eat food from the gas station. Again, other than the food issue, it was a great experience and a lot of fun. The night sky was incredible.

Beds were super comfy and the linens and yurt were extremely clean and cozy. The bathrooms and shower could have used attention and it smelled like the septic could have been dumped sooner than later.

30mn de grand canyon. Piste pour y accéder. Pas d’éclairage dans la tente si ce n’est une lampe sur batterie avec 1h d’autonomie. Chauffage payant pour 3/4h…. Aucun moyen de charger ses trucs électroniques (alors qu’ils accueillent des touristes qui vont avoir besoin de leurs trucs le lendemain pour faire des photos, on nous suggère de charger dans la voiture… ce qui n’est pas possible sauf à la laisser d’tourner la nuit??) Établissement mal exploité, pas de serviettes non plus contrairement aux photos. Food truck bon mais pas de choix. On paye surtout l’expérience de dormir dans une tente…. Pas du tout un glamping.

Peaceful Desert Escape Under the Stars

Our stay at Wander Camp Grand Canyon was unforgettable. The tents were spacious, comfortable, and had that perfect mix of rustic charm with just enough modern touches to make it relaxing. Waking up to the sunrise in the wide open desert was absolutely breathtaking. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. At night, sitting under the stars by the fire felt magical and gave us the kind of peace you just cannot find in a regular hotel. If you want an experience that feels adventurous yet comfortable, this is the place.

This was a tent without electricity or running water in the tent. We thought it was very clean and very comfortable. Our only concern the porta potty (Sunday night Monday morning) was extremely full and could’ve used cleaning “at least” one day earlier. Maybe Friday before a busy weekend. But we did love hearing the coyotes howling at night. Really!!!! Great fun.

This was such a unique experience, the hospitality did not feel like a performance, we arrived super late and they had everything ready for us to go to bed. Woke up to a gorgeous sunrise, and had the most view of the stars before we went to bed. Love how eco-friendly they are!

De tent was comfortabel en best ruim, wij hebben er wel persoonlijk voor gekozen om alles in de auto te laten vanwege de ruimte. Er staan dixies over het terrein heen, dus er is een toilet dichtbij. De hoofdtoiletten zijn aangesloten op een tank, wat bijna een dixie is maar is iets frisser. We hebben zelf, vanwege de waterdruk, er voor gekozen om niet te douchen. Wander Camp heeft ons goed op de hoogte gebracht van de aanwezige faciliteiten voor ons aankomst (ontbijt en diner). De host van de avond had een lampje om hun nek waardoor wij wisten waar we naartoe moesten rijden, hierna kregen we ook een lantaarn voor de weg te vinden. Deze is niet fel, maar een klein beetje licht is prettig. Waar inderdaad niet over gesproken was is het stuk zandweg waar je over moest rijden voor je aankwam, dit wist ik door een andere review. Gelukkig had ik een 4x4 gehuurd, dus was dit geen probleem. Hierdoor betekent het wel dat er eigenlijk niets te doen is. Wij zijn hierdoor eigenlijk alleen op locatie geweest om te slapen. Je gaat 's nachts wilde dieren horen (en zelfs kunnen zien, wij zagen een coyote net voor zonsopkomst). Ook werd het fris 's nachts, maar er waren genoeg dekens in de tent dat dit geen probleem was. Dus ja, het is Glamping, maar je moet zeker niet vies zijn van dixies. Fantastische ervaring voor een nacht!

Tent was much smaller than shown in the ad. Portapoti was way past full. My cot/bed was not level which made for a terrible nights rest. Spiders in the tent had my wife freaked out. Worst part was the tiny tent.

The tent was very large for 2 people and the bed was amazing. However, our tent was located really close to a porta-potty, which you could smell once you stepped out. There were plenty of other tents available and should have been filled up first. Also, while this is a camping spot, for the price, towels for the showers should be made available considering many are traveling from out of state.

We had a great stay. The people working there take good care of the camp and bathrooms. We came in very late but had no problem checking in by phone. The road getting there is a bit rough.
