Solid Stay at an Older Hotel, but Breakfast Falls

I had a good stay at this older hotel. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, despite some signs of age. The bed was comfy, making for a pleasant experience overall. My only complaint was the continental breakfast, which was disappointing. It was advertised as a full spread, but all they had were bread, muffins, terrible coffee that tasted burnt, and a broken juice machine that didn’t work during my stay. Despite the breakfast letdown, the hotel was a solid choice for a comfortable stay. I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5 - decent, but the breakfast needs serious improvement.

Very disappointed that the pool was filthy and was NEVER cleaned when we were there. We came from MN and stayed there because of the pool. The manager did give us a credit which I was very appreciative

Do NOT stay here

Upon arrival there were shopping cart on either side of the entry with yellow caution tape blocking areas off. Thought maybe construction but did not look like anything was happening. After receiving our room number and attempting go to the back of the property were our room was we were surprised by the amount of people (workers) living out of the property. It was a rough crowd playing music gathered all over the parking lot, sitting on the stairs so you could not get by, clothing hung all over the walkway railing, smoking weed and staring at my wife and daughter that we were moving into college. Broke down cars and trucks in the parking lot, it just was NOT a safe environment (I talked to the business across the street and they said cops were there all the time at night responding to problems). I talked to the front desk and requested a room change to the front since all other hotels for an hour radius were completely booked. The front desk girls were happy to help and realized the problem but the manger quickly jumped in and was reluctant to help but final gave in. The next day included breakfast consisted of a glass bowl full of yogurt (not cold) a 24 hour coffee machine and maybe cereal. Juice machine was broke so basically nothing. We left for the day and reluctantly returned late that evening. Second morning we woke up early to leave to find the night front desk clerk feet up asleep in the chair, couples sleeping on the lobby couch. Overall a bad experience, felt unsaf.

Do not come here!

When we got there after driving for several hours, the room they gave us initially smelled like absolute crap. It was a mixture of Cigarette Smoke and dirty laundry. We couldn’t even step into the room because of how bad it smelled. We went back to the office and they gave us another room and it wasn’t ready, they said it would be another hour or so until they were done, so they made us go back to the office again. After the third time of going back, the Hotel Desk Assistant apologized and gave us a third room. This one was a little cleaner but it still smelled like cigarette.

Thankfully I didn't spend much time in the room.

This place was comfortable and everything worked like fridge, microwave, and shower. Things were worn looking and old. You couldn't use the microwave and television at the same time because the television would freeze everytime you turned on the microwave. Also, there was this horrible smell in the breeze way getting to my room. Smelled like feces. The door had wear on the base which left space for crickets and spiders to crawl from outside into the room. The room was facing the pool and smelled heavily of chlorine when I got into it. Possibly from the space in the door to the exterior.

The room comforter on the bed was stained. The room had a bad odor. The wall near the bathroom had splatters of some substance on it and the bath tub was not clean.

The stay was terrible the only good thing about the stay it was walking distance to some restaurants and Walmart was 2 minutes down the road. Outside of that this hotel should be condemned they tried to cover up the bad smell with bleach mold was all over the bathroom ceiling had poop outside the toilet our room leaked water no bed bugs but did have insect in the room stained up sheets and pillow cases also towels were stained. Have you to little baby pillows that went flat when you laid your head on them, beds were hard and uncomfortable and the list goes on. The Expedia hotels.com should be a shame of even listing this hotel. I paid over $130 a night for 3 nights and it was not worth the value.
