The room was very clean and smell great. The elevator smell great too. The lobby is medium size however, its organized and clean. My only complain is this Indian guy from India didn't inform me how to login to my room WiFi. Thats very inconvenience and not good customer services. 👎👎 If you stay at this hotel and come across any indian fuy from India, get instruction logging in to your room WFi. Thanks Alex Aquino

We stayed here during our family trip to San Francisco on the way to home. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5–10 minute drive to the SFO airport. While hotels and motels near or south of the airport were extremely expensive, this property offered a very reasonable rate, including breakfast. Both the exterior and interior were very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. Although we didn’t visit any nearby facilities, there were several restaurants within walking distance. It seems that the indoor pool has been permanently closed. Just a note for future guests — there is parking lot, but it costs $22 per night. On Hotels.com it was listed as “self parking available,” not “free self parking,” and the price wasn’t specified, so I wanted to mention it here. Overall, considering the atmosphere, safety of the area, and easy access to the airport, this hotel is an excellent value. Thank you so much.

⚠️ WARNING: UNSAFE AND UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I booked this hotel through Expedia because Bonvoy wouldn’t let me use my Gold Elite account (their class system at work). I arrived at 2:30 p.m. after requesting early check-in, only to be told to wait 20 minutes—then watched another guest check in immediately. The first room (312) was across from the elevator, bare-bones, and the shower leaked badly under the bathroom door and into the carpet. I reported it quietly and was offered another room that wasn’t much better. I stayed in the first room using extra towels to keep the floor dry; at least the bed was clean and smelled freshly laundered. The worst part: when I returned after being away for two days for work, the clothes I had laid out were soaking wet. I don’t know if someone came in and poured water on them or dragged them through the wet carpet, but either way, it was alarming. When I told the front desk on checkout, they couldn’t have cared less. The property is old and right next to the freeway (noisy), has strange ceiling motion sensors, and at times charged over $200 a night. It felt unsafe—especially for a woman traveling alone. Avoid this place. I’ve reported my experience to Expedia.

The room we stayed in was not the usual quality of a Marriott property. The shower walls appeared not to have been wiped down as there were flecks of something on them. There was also a hair on the shower floor. The rest of the bathroom appeared very well cleaned. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets seemed ill-fitting as the corners kept coming up. The room, while adequate, seemed a bit tired. The breakfast was good, but the coffee was surprisingly watery. The area was convenient to the airport and fairly close to some fast food, but I would not consider walking anywhere—not a visually appealing place.

Awesome Hotel

It is one of the most comfortable and relaxing hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Moving my daughter into her college dorm was exhausting, but coming back to the Fairfield Marriott was like coming back home with such comfy beds. The cleanliness was incomparable even to really high end hotels I’ve stayed in.
