Emplacement parfait. Appartement spacieux et literie de la chambre confortable. Le canapé lit convient pour de jeunes enfants car il s’enfonce avec le poids d’un adulte. Nous n’avons pas réussi à allumer le chauffage, mais l’équipe est à l’écoute et aurait donc probablement répondu positivement si elle avait été sollicitée.

ホテルへの入室方法の連絡がとても遅く、結局、チェックインをする当日の数時間前だったことがマイナスです。連絡では数日中に案内するとあったので、せめて１日前にはほしいです。あとシャワールームの扉がよくないため、工夫をしてつかっても床が濡れてしまいます。それ以外のことは、すべてよかったです。今回で特徴がわかったので、また次回使いたいと思います。

This apartment was in the perfect location. Easy walkable area. Close to the water and the middle of the city. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of Lisbon by keeping our windows open all the time. We can't wait to return and this will definitely be the place we stay. The staff were great to work with and responded quickly when we had any questions. Very helpful when needing a place for our luggage when we arrived early. No complaints at all.

The apartment was in an excellent location with easy walking access to shops, restaurants, local sites and transportation. Comfortable and clean with a lovely view. The only negative comment I have is you can hear your neighbours in the night or early morning, but the traffic noise is quite minimal. Try a tuk tuk tour around the city...well worth it.

We thought we had booked a hotel but it turned out to be just an apartment in a building. The room itself is good and it’s in a great location. Poor communication with the host (they got back to us, but slowly), and no flexibility on early checkin even though the apartment was not occupied. Air conditioner is not working. Overall the central location made up for the other shortcomings for the 1 night that we were here.

The four nights that we were at Casas da Baixa were difficult. We specifically booked a room with air conditioning, but the air conditioning units were defective. We sent 1-2 emails a day, but the issue was not resolved. We did like the location, very nice close to activities and entertainment.

Yes, the bed was comfortable and the location can’t be beat. That’s where the positives end. The pillows were awful, the kitchen was stocked with the bare minimum, and there wasn’t even a welcome book with basics like how to use the metro or where to eat. But the real issue is safety — and the fact that management simply does not care. The shower hose blasted water everywhere the first time we used it, soaking the bathroom. The floors outside are already warped and splintering from obvious water damage. My wife slipped badly trying to get into the steep tub, cut her elbow, and bruised her back and shoulder. It could easily have been a broken bone or head injury. I immediately asked for a simple $5 non-slip mat. Management flat-out refused, hiding behind excuses about “hygiene” instead of addressing a clear hazard. Even after an actual injury, they wouldn’t act. Add in a deadbolt that doesn’t work and warped floors waiting to cause splinters or trips, and you’ve got a place that screams “we don’t care.” To make matters worse, they lied to Expedia about “working with me” when I had ended communication. Of course, we never got the mat. Bottom line: Unsafe, poorly maintained, and run by people who ignore real injuries and hazards. Would not recommend at all.

The location of the property and the property itself was great. The issue we had was that the air-conditioner wasn't working. We stayed there for two nights and had to keep the windows open for fresh air, but the noise from the traffic below made it next to impossible to sleep. We messaged the property agent but unfortunately they couldn't resolve it, which was a shame. It spoilt the whole experience for me.

A great location. Having an elevator to take us and our luggage to the 3rd floor was a lovely surprise! This was the 13th bed we slept in this vacation and the bed was definitely the most comfortable of all of them! Quiet at night even though it was so close to the busy tourist area.

Bel appartement très bien décoré, incroyablement situé mais l’hôte ne répond pas rapidement. Le matin, l’hôte nous mentionne que nous pouvons laisser nos valises avant le check in à 16:00, mais les codes ne fonctionnent pas. Ils nous répondent plusieurs heures plus tard, sans régler le problème. Nous avons dû débourser pour entreposer nos valises.

Wir haben 6 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Das Zimmer war bei der Ankunft sehr schön und sauber, was einen guten ersten Eindruck gemacht hat. Leider wurde dieser Eindruck schnell getrübt: Während des gesamten Aufenthalts erfolgte keinerlei Reinigung. Laut Aushang im Aufzug sollte nach 5 Tagen zumindest einmal gereinigt werden – was ohnehin schon sehr wenig ist – doch auch das passierte nicht. Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt und Toilettenpapier nicht aufgefüllt. Für ein Hotel ist das enttäuschend. Auch die Kommunikation war schwierig. Da es keine Rezeption gibt, läuft alles über WhatsApp oder E-Mail. Antworten kamen jedoch sehr langsam oder gar nicht. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass wir erst am zweiten Tag nachmittags erfuhren, wo sich das Café zum Frühstücken befand. So haben wir die ersten beiden Frühstücke, die wir bezahlt hatten, verpasst. Fazit: Schönes Zimmer, aber mangelhafter Service und schlechte Organisation. Das Hotel müsste dringend an Service und Kommunikation arbeiten.

Terrible Experience – Stay Away! Our first night was awful – the A/C wasn’t working, and the representative I contacted was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She kept repeating that an inspection was done before we checked in and insisted there were no issues, which turned out to be completely false. They even claimed someone came to check the unit, but we never saw anyone and the A/C was still broken. To make matters worse, there’s no way to reach anyone after 5 PM, so we were stuck in a hot apartment all night. The next day, I followed up again and finally they admitted the main A/C was broken. We were moved to another apartment that did have working A/C, but no blanket was provided – so we froze all night instead. This was a completely unacceptable experience. I will never use this company again for any accommodations. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

So what I was hoping this property had was everything I wanted, a beautiful overhead street view while close to historical locations. We stayed in the penthouse apartment and had plenty of space and comfort. Fully functional and equipped kitchen with many options with spacious rooms. Going back and staying here again will be a no brainer. Staying at Jules & Madeleine apartment made our trip unforgettable while in Lisbon. Thank you Jules & Madeleine!
