Disappointing Stay Despite Convenient Location

The photos on the booking website were very misleading compared to the actual condition of the hotel. I arrived shorty after midnight and was fortunate that there was still someone at the front desk. When I asked if drinking water was available, I was told that tap water in the room was safe to drink. However, there wasn't a single glass provided-not even a cup for brushing teeth-so I had no idea how I was supposed to drink the water. The room itself was extremely run-down. The carpet was stained and dirty, and both the bathroom door and other door frames were damage. The entire room felt neglected, old, and frankly quite unsettling. The front desk staff showed no expression-not exactly rude, but certainly not welcoming either. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location right next to the underground station, which makes transportation convenient. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.

average hostel

It is just right in front of the metro station which is situated in a quiet safe and clean neighborhood. The hostel itself is a bit old with insufficient sockets to charge our phones and cameras， there was one under the window (behind the curtain) and one hidden behind the bed， which u need to pull the bed away from wall to reach it. It has free wifi. breakfast inclusive dont expect much， but it can fill u up. Overall this place is ok.

Det er jo ligemeget at receptionen er flot og har masser af marmor, når værelserne er noget skrammel. De fleste steder jeg bor koster ca. €40-€80 pr. nat (jeg rejser gerne 8-10 gange årligt, så jeg har forudsætningerne for at kunne sammenligne hotelværelser i den prisklasse). Dette værelse kostede €60 pr. nat og var markant dårligere end mit forrige hotel i Porto som kun kostede €40 pr. nat. Det virkede billigt og jeg har ikke sovet på en så sølle seng siden jeg overnattede en enkelt gang på en madras på gulvet i Bankok. Jeg sov dog fint, men kvaliteten af sengen og rummet var bare ringe. Ikke en gang en lille hylde på toilet/badeværelse, eller et drikkeglas var der. Det værste var dog badet. Jøsses, hvor var det elendigt! Som regel slutter jeg anmeldelser med spørgsmålet "Ville jeg bo der igen?". Det bliver et stort NEJ - ikke en gang hvis jeg fik overnatningen gratis ... det skulle i hvert fald være af meget højere kvalitet. Hotellet lå et stykke uden for centrum, men tæt på offentlig transport - både tog og metro, så i det mindste var dét okay.

The primary plus of this hotel is the location, steps from a Metro stop. While the lobby area is impressive, my room and the general condition of the hotel were poor. The carpet in my room had multiple large stains. The stairway was not vacuumed at all during the three nights I was at the hotel, as the same bits of trash were there the whole time. The room and bathroom were quite small, and I had to maneuver around one of the twin beds to get into the bathroom. My room was on the street side, right above a Sushi restaurant stayed open late, so there were loud conversations going on past midnight, which the inadequate soundproofing failed to block. My impression is that this was once a fine hotel, but the current management is not maintaining it properly, or even cleaning it adequately. I WILL NOT be staying there again.

This Hotel is very "tired" and could do with an upgrade. We had a room backing on to the lift shaft which was noisy for most of the time, spoiling our sleep. The room was very small and tight for any space to do anything. It was not an enjoyable stay however, it must be said that this is in the centre of a European Capital City and was very low cost for that so, very good value but we were pleased to be staying for just one night.

This is a hotel with a nice lobby but very very old rooms. It is only for sleeping. Good value and price. But even by European standards, very stained and dingy. We were safe though and well located.
