Overall the hotel is clean, staff were very helpful, breakfast had a nice selection and the hotel bar was open late too. Bonus: staff offered to make late dinners if we wanted. The facilities are in need of updating, but if you only stay for a night it is acceptable. First night I ended up in a room without a working toilet, the staff quickly rectified this by allocating a different room the next day, but this should not have happened. The rooms are clean, but unusually there are no plug sockets next to the beds, windows can't be opened and rooms heating switches appear to be decoys. The breakfast bar chillers are extremely noisy. Hotel needs a bit of love from head office with some updates. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
