Stayed at Galatian for a week and was very pleased with the room and service. Trisia really took care of us and any reservations we needed in Mykonos. Very clean and new rooms. Location was perfect in Fabrika right in front of the bus station and walking distance to all the restaurant and shops in town. Will be staying here again next summer.

Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Saubere Unterkunft im Zentrum von Mykonos, aber viel zu laut. Man konnte die ganze Nacht Leute schreien hören, die Busse hörte man auch die ganze Nacht und andere laute Geräusche wie eine Getriebe vom Haus daneben, brachten uns schlaflose Nächte. Am Balkon war es so stickig, dass man ihn nicht mal öffnen konnte, weil die schlechte und heiße Luft von Klimaanlage/Abluft/Getriebe etc. gestanden ist.

The staff was incredible. They (successfully) tried to accommodate every need we might have had. Location is great, especially if you want to move around Mykonos by bus (which I really recommend, just 2 euros!) or on foot. Might be a little loud at night, but it's not bothering at all.

I liked the location and cleanliness of the hotel. It is located in the heart of Mykonos . We really enjoyed our walk in the evening . Perfect stay!

Amazing stay at the Galation! The location is perfect across the street from Fabrika, the central bus station for downtown Mykonos and all of the bars, shops, and restaurants as well. Trisia was the most delightful host and went out of her way to make sure I had an enjoyable stay. She gave me a special Greek treat and when she found out I loved chocolate even bought me several samples of delicious chocolate treats. I was also able to check in early and store my baggage for a few hours upon checkout. I will never stay anywhere else when in Mykonos!

This is the best place to stay when you come to Mykonos. Everything is walking distance, bus and taxis literally outside waiting for you. Best part of this hotel is the staff, Trish and Vasiliki helped us so much with getting to know the areas and the best bars/clubs to visit, highly knowledgeable staff!

I can’t recommend this hotel enough! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The location is absolutely top-notch—right in the center of Mykonos, within walking distance to everything: charming shops, iconic windmills, delicious restaurants, and the sparkling sea. You couldn’t ask for a better spot to explore the island! What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff, especially Trisia. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Trisia gave us amazing local tips, helped with bookings and directions, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Her communication was excellent—super clear and responsive, which made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed.

Enjoyable stay

Stayed here for 5 nights, was greeted at reception by Marina who was lovely and informative provided as with a map and recommendation of why to visit and eat on the island. Marina showed us to our room. Our room was as the photos showed we had a fridge with 2 small bottles of water (replenished daily) and two bottles of a juice type drink. It was extra special they recognised our birthdays (mine and my mothers) and went to the bakery and bought us a cake. We did find the room a little cold (due to the bad weather the island was having) Marina provided us with extra blankets and showed us how to use the air con as a heater to heat the room. Shower was hot and pressure good hotel provided free toiletries Location of hotel great in town opposite the bus station ( noise of bus station was not an issue for us) minutes from Little Venice little bit further to old port. The noise of the restaurant below or ice cream shop next door did wake us a few times with what sounded like scrapping of chairs. Now for the con the stairs leading up are painted gloss and have a ‘non slip strip’ and have one hand rail one side, it had been raining heavily and I slipped down half way up the stairs to the very bottom and I was wearing new trainers with grip and I was holding on. I was wearing a rucksack which luckily took the brunt otherwise I could have serious injuries hotel staff were fantastic though and the guy from the ice cream shop that helped. I did ask the hotel to address this issue
