Great location and nice hotel

We had a great stay at Grids as a couple. The room is small as expected, but with a very central location close to everything. Namba is close to the station/metro, Dotonbury, shopping etc (5-10 minutes walking). The shower was a bit too low for my boyfriend at 187 cm, so wouldn’t recommend for above this height if you don’t want to bend. They have three laundry machines to wash your own clothes, but you must fill the machine and collect the clothes yourself (and it’s just up for grabs - no list). The bed was somewhat hard, but manageable. All in all we had a great stay! :)

The hotel is right in the middle of Namba almost next to the station. It is very clean, amenities were good, and staff was friendly. Breakfast was pretty good (nothing to rave about though). It is in the walkable distance major areas including Dotombori,Shinsaibashi,Kuromon market, and Denden town. A lot of must go restaurants such as Chibo Okonomiyaki, Ichiran Ramen, etc. Also Takashimaya Department store is right next to the hotel and there are tons of quick eateries there along with some other restaurants just outside. I'll probably stay here againif we made trip to Osaka again.
