The staff was pretty rude. I love Margaritaville so much but specifically the women at the front (I forget her name- she has glasses) was very rude. I got engaged this time and I was planning to have my wedding there but now I don’t know just because of that. We also had blood on our sheets but she did replace them, which was good. Everything else was good!

Sheets were dirty, the housekeeping came up to change the sheets and put on queen size sheets for a King mattress twice. Eventually I had to help her put them on once she finally got the right size. We went to make coffee in the room and there was no cream or sugar, I called the front office and they said they have some but I have to come to the office to get it. Not a big deal, but figured they’d offer to bring it up to the room since they forgot to put it there in the first place. The room was clean other than the sheets and the hotel is well maintained, pillows were not comfortable at all but if the hospitality was better, we would’ve had a lot better experience. The restaurant staff was wonderful though!

While I was in the shower, my husband noticed that the balcony door didn’t lock at all. Being on the 8th floor, it seems unlikely someone could get up there — but it still felt unsafe, especially since we had just seen some questionable activity by the pier earlier. My husband tried calling the front desk twice with no answer and eventually went downstairs to ask for help. They moved us to another room on the same floor, but the balcony door in that room also didn’t lock. I called the front desk several times before someone finally answered. I asked whether the top-floor doors maybe didn’t lock by design, but was told they were supposed to. Maintenance came up, looked at the door, said something I couldn’t understand, and then left without fixing anything or returning. At that point, we just asked for our original room back since at least the view was better. Sleeping in a room with a balcony door that didn’t lock was uncomfortable, especially after another guest near us mentioned their door did lock, so clearly it isn’t normal. The whole situation felt unsafe. To make matters more concerning, when we checked in, the front desk was already dealing with a call from a previous guest who claimed he saw someone on his balcony while he was on the beach — which definitely didn’t ease our minds. The room cleanliness wasn’t great. There was noticeable hair and dirt in the bathroom floorboards.

I booked a room with a balcony view. Where my room was located there was restaurant with a rooftop bar. Every night of my stay there was loud music and I could not go to bed until the establishment stopped the music. The shower is not fully enclosed. There is half a glass literally. The onsite restaurant has pretty decent food. The alcoholic beverages aren’t that great. Also there is a $20 microwave rental fee if you need to use a microwave. The hotel is really over priced and does not offer a true luxurious stay.

We stayed at Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Jacksonville Beach last week and overall it was an “okay” experience, but a few things definitely left us underwhelmed for the price. First, there is only valet parking available, which runs $32 per night. That felt excessive and inconvenient, especially when there are no in hotel compound self-parking alternatives. Second, we booked and paid for an oceanfront room, but our room was positioned between two buildings and set back, so it did not feel oceanfront at all. We could barely get a view of the ocean or feel a breeze. We did go back to the front desk, and the staff member was helpful in moving us to a higher floor, but it was still in the same configuration—sandwiched between buildings with only a partial view. We appreciated the effort, but it wasn’t what we expected based on how the room was advertised. The room itself was a standard size—clean and comfortable, but nothing remarkable for the price point. A couple of minor inconveniences: The ice machine on our floor wasn’t working, so we had to go elsewhere. The bracelets used to access the elevators were glitchy and several guests (including us) had trouble getting them to scan properly. Overall, the stay wasn’t bad, but between the lack of true oceanfront views, the high valet cost, and some small operational issues, it didn’t live up to expectations for the nightly rate. Staff was friendly, but the experience just didn’t feel like the level of value we anticipated.

The hotel provides very limited services to its guests. The hotel has a restaurant on site, but does not provide any room service to its guests. Additionally, there is minimal customer service provided to guests. I had requested if there was cutlery which could be brought up to the room. The response from the front desk, was that I could come to and get my own plastic cutlery. Lastly, room service did not provide us with a complete turn down service on our first night during our stay. This hotel appeared to be running on a skeleton crew. If you're thinking about checking in here. Think again and consider other hotels with better service nearby.

I feel this hotel has really gone down hill. I've stayed at this hotel 4 times now, and this latest visit was horrible. I called the hotel at 130pm on Friday when I got in to town to ask about an early check-in. The lady had an attitude and told me that they check-in time is 4pm. Which is fine I understand that. You normally get a welcome bag with 2 waters, no waters this stay. I paid for the premium room and got a 30"x30" shower that had the worst pressure imaginable. The wood trim in the bathroom was discolored due to water damage at some point. The beds have no box spring, just a board and are a foot off the floor and not very comfortable. The shop in the lobby, had no breakfast items besides bagels. No waffles or sandwiches that are on the menu. No specialty coffee items. Just regular coffee, and all the soda's were in the cooler and flat/warm. I won't stay here again.

The location is ideal. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food and drink, no worth the money we paid for it. The elevators didn’t work, and there was no sign put up for the guest, so everyone had to figure it out on their own. The water fixtures in our bathroom were broken. Just not a lot of reason to go back.

Greeted with margaritas. Very nice hotel. Only complaint was the hallway was a little muggy/humid but the rest was perfect. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
