Very small hotel, good location but overpriced for the amenities and overall condition of the property. Staff were friendly but room was not tidied during my stay, so I had to clean my own mug to reuse it the following day. Far too many stairs to negotiate for anyone with walking difficulties.

Had a wonderful stay at OYO Pier Hotel. Had a superior double room which was lovely - beautiful decor, huge bathroom and a balcony space. Bed was so comfortable. Location was absolutely perfect. Will return again soon.

Just wanted a night to visit family in the area. Website says parking which was not actually available. Note that after 3pm you can part on the sea front for 3 hours for free and is not restricted after 6pm so could leave overnight and get another 3 hours at 9am when starts again. Welcome was warm and friendly. Room was very small (Room 9) just bed and tiny bathroom. As on own having a really small room was not an issue as was clean. The big issue was no blind in room and no privacy and light waking me up early. Would not stay again.

The staff at reception welcomed me warmly, checking me in with efficiency and genuine friendliness. My room was as per pictures on hotel website: large, airy, clean and with a small roof terrace. I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful touches: complimentary tea and coffee facilities, a smart TV with a wide array of channels, and speedy, reliable Wi-Fi that kept me connected throughout my stay. The ensuite bathroom was modern, spotlessly clean, and stocked with quality toiletries and fluffy towels, making the morning routine a pleasure. Staying at the OYO Pier Hotel puts you at the centre of Clacton's vibrant social scene. Within moments, you can be trying your luck at the arcade, enjoying thrilling rides on the pier, or sampling ice cream as you stroll along the shore. My time at the OYO Pier Hotel was a joy from start to finish. The combination of a prime location and comfortable room made for an unforgettable experience.

We booked the hotel for one night. The lady who welcomed us was very nice and showed us to our room's. The room was clean. It had a shower/toilet. Tea , coffee and TV. It was adequate for our stay. Parking is a bit hit and miss. A little bit of noise from the bar's across the road. All in all, it was okay.
