Older room. Only 2 vehicles staying here. Put is in the back rooms which seemed weird because the front rooms looked nicer and was closer to breakfast area. Breakfast area wasnt running when we checked out at 730am.....place was dark. I assume because only 2 rooms were rented. Room was pretty cleab but had thin plywood covering access holes in walls. A rope was tied to bathroom window to pull closed. Again I'm guessing since we booked on hotels.com and had a cheaper rate we got thrown into the "cheap person rooms"....and no breakfast for you. Just me and my 13 year old son. Dad and son quick ice fishing trip....so it worked for us.

Wonderful Motel

This motel is perfect for a 1-2 night stay. The beds are moderately comfortable, the room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom was clean and the towels are comfortable. I never checked out the breakfast. I do agree with some of the reviews saying the motel is dated, however, it is a cute little place and the price is very reasonable. If I travel back through I would definitely stay again.

Reasonably priced and clean.

The Raines is an older motel, but it was clean, and the bed was comfortable although it was just a full sized and not a queen as we expected. We probably hadn't read the description close enough so that would have been our neglect. It was a hot day and the air conditioner was turned off, so it did take a while for the room to cool down. Otherwise, we had everything we needed.

This is an amazing place to stay! The check in went smoothly, quickly, friendly welcoming service! The property is very well kept and lined with beautiful flowers! The staff was beyond friendly and extremely accommodating! This was the first time we stayed at this location after years of coming for our annual float trip and now this will be the only place we stay! Thank you for your incredible hospitality accommodating us while we waited several hours after check out having repairs done to our vehicle! See you again next year!
