Amazing room, great size, breakfast choice and food quality was good. Spa facilities justified the price. The spa was amazing with loads of small pools and 3 different sauna level and a steam room. It was out anniversary and they left 2 macaroons with a plate saying happy anniversary and a card which was a nice touch!

The room was great, we had one on the back of the hotel overlooking the hills. We used the spa when we arrived and before we checked out. The hotel is in the process of changing owners, the staff seem a little sad whilst still staying professional. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment for us. We’ve stayed here a lot so have plenty of other times to compare too. Yea cups were dirty & had to be changed, tea didn’t arrive & we had to request again. The fruit salad was on the turn, old melon that had started to ferment. Just seemed like they were ‘winding down’ we will visit again when the new owners take over so hopefully will see improvements to how it used to be.

Nous avons énormément apprécié ce séjour dans cet hôtel SPA historique de la merveilleuse ville de Buxton. Tout était parfait. La chambre était très confortable, très bien équipée. La partie SPA est très vaste avec 3 bassins dont un a un accès extérieur, 3 saunas différents, un haman. Enfin le petit déjeuner continental et/ou anglais est excellent. Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement.

My room was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. The spa experience was exceptional — the thermal pool and treatments left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and professional, going out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. I can’t recommend Ensana Buxton Crescent highly enough and can’t wait to return!

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff who welcomed us with a glass of Prosecco and advice about where to go and eat. To the beautiful room, lovely and spacious and very clean. A bath and walk-in shower both spotless and powerful. The breakfast was lovely (heated plates a nice touch), only niggle was that it was a limited range of breakfast items out, however being able to order pretty much any breakfast item, cooked fresh was a treat; my poached egg and oak smoked haddock was delicious. We did come for the spa and it didn’t disappoint. It was great putting on your robe in your room and waking down one flight to find yourself in the spa! Plan to return!

The lovely lady on reception let me know when room was available and I managed to get early check in which was great. Got the room requested with amazing view of Pump room and slopes. All beautifully clean and a truly amazing bathroom with huge bath. Room service breakfast arrived promptly and all as ordered. Spa was delightful. So relaxing in the various pools. Love the outside pool experience.

We stayed at Ensana Buxton Crescent and found it to be a luxurious spa retreat in a beautifully restored Georgian building. The rooms were elegant and comfortable, with period features, plush beds, and freestanding baths that made us feel pampered. The spa was the highlight—complete with a rooftop pool, relaxation pool, saunas, steam rooms, and thermal baths filled daily with Buxton’s natural spring water. The experience was deeply restorative and left us feeling refreshed. We appreciated the central location, which made it easy to explore Buxton and the nearby Peak District. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The overall experience was smooth and satisfying. Ensana Buxton Crescent gave us a memorable blend of heritage, wellness, and relaxation.

Nice clean & comfortable room, easy check in. Breakfast is definitely the best we have been offered anywhere in the U.K., with a truely extensive offering! Can get a little busy between 8.30 & 10am, so best to get there earlier! Spa is good although definitely over capacity with day guests in the afternoon. The Spa manager needs to put a limit on it instead of thinking about the profit. Fifty minute treatment for £95 was so worth it. Would definitely return for a two to three night break again!
