The hotel was easy to find and within walking distance from the port in Zamami. When we arrived, we were able to check in to our room and our host was really helpful in assisting us with getting snorkel equipment. Since we cannot speak Japanese, the host used the translation app and it made communicating with him easy. We liked the place as it was clean and comfortable, they also provided beach towels and has an area where you can rinse off and hang snorkels, wetsuits and life jackets. We had a really pleasant stay there.

Helpful staff, clean hotel, has everything you need including washers and dryers. Walkable from the ferry in under 5 minutes and walkable to Furuzamami beach in 10-15 mins. Breakfast could be better, and for dinner most restaurants around need booking, but local supermarket bento is also a good option.

A great spot to explore Zamami island. Incredibly helpful staff, offering frequent bus services to Zamami’s pristine beaches. An older property but well maintained. Great coffee too!

I came here with my mom, we loved it here, the staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs and helped us with reservations for dinner around town. The staff runs a tight ship, everything is very organized. We appreciated the staff always checking in on us when they saw us. My mom and I were very impressed with the breakfast, ready waiting for us, it was absolutely delicious!! We felt safe here with the camera at the entrance and loved the onsight laundry. We also really appreciated the staff using the translator, that was very helpful. We had an excellent time here and love the islands beauty and culture. We would come back!

We had a great stay! The service was excellent – the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect, with good local restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and clean with seaview. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was Japanese/western style alternating. Overall, we had a really pleasant experience and would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Property was very clean safe. Beds are comfortable. I had trouble with booking ferry, staff helped me book ferry home. Nice That staff provides free transportation to hotel and ferry. Staff accommodating and let me check out later.

A pleasant stay in paradise

This modest, family-run establishment tries hard to please. They are eager to answer questions and provide help with transportation and island activities. They prepare a generous traditional Japanese breakfast that must be ordered in advance. The guest rooms are large and rustic, and include amenities such as slippers, sleeping pajamas and towels for bath and beach. If you are looking to do a snorkel, kayak or stand up paddle excursion, I highly recommend Noah’s across the street.

Worth the stay in Zamami

Zamami is quite a beautiful island with some of the most beautiful beaches, definitely worth a visit! We decided to stay in Zamami to maximize the time spent on this gorgeous island. This hotel had amazing service and was a small mom and pop style hotel. It is a bit older and could use some updates, however, it was good enough to be comfortable.

Liked: cleanliness, very kind and helpful service by manager and staf, big room with vieuw on port, possibility to rent bicycle and electric car at hotel, environment with snorkeling possibilities and very beautiful beaches, very safe island. This place is wonderful! Within 5 mins walking to port, village & restaurants. Very clean. We stay two nights. Breakfast was very good especially 2nd days Japanese style was amazing. We went to Aka island on second day. Manager made several calls to help us reserved a motorcycle there & it made our explore much easy & fascinated! Very appreciated. They have shuttle to take guest to the beaches Overall, highly recommend this place. The service was top-notch.

Beautiful and convenient location. Hotel staff extremely helpful, helped transport us to the local beach and gave us advice on tide timings for the best time to snorkel. The electric car rental was well worth it for exploring the mountainous island. Definitely recommend against cycling unless you only want to visit the coastal beaches.
