Room was clean and tidy and had been recently refurbished. However the door to the balcony took a lot of effort to secure. The bed was comfy and the room had a nice feeling although we were close to the lift and the noise was quite noticeable throughout the night. Breakfast was a buffet, however arriving slightly later 9:15ish meant that things weren't as well stocked as we thought they might be for a cooked breakfast. Parking for the property is limited and options around the hotel are also limited and can be expensive.

The twin room was spotless, and felt quite luxurious. The bathroom was lovely, the toiletries really nice to use. We loved the buffet breakfast, and the dining area is really spacious and relaxed.

Unfortunately the stay was not a pleasant one. Despite booking a room weeks in advance on arrival we were allocated room 419 a family room on entry was great however it was opposite the lift and beside the lift plant room. The noise was constant from the plant room like a constant hum and then every time the lift moved which was frequently you could hear a loud mechanically pulling sound. This was accompanied by a bell on the lift that chimed every time the lift stopped on our floor. The combination made for an awful nights sleep on reporting this to reception i was told we were allocated the room as thats all that was available they were aware of the noise issues and they only use that room when at capacity we obviously were not advised of this and they didn't seem interested other than they would share our concerns with management.

Although only a brief stay and minimal interaction with staff. Pleasant and friendly, checked in was quick and efficient. Rooms comfy, warm and very clean bathroom. Possibly could have done with a bit more lighting in the room. Very good service before arrival with communication via email. Questions about parking were answered and added another person into the room quickly

Allocated a terrible room right next to the lift, which produced noises like people using power tools. Ironically, there is also a lot of refurbishment going on at the hotel, so during working hours you can hear actual power tools. Reception staff weren't interested or able in moving me to a more peaceful room, so my number 1 hotel requirement of being able to get a good nights sleep was unfortunately not met.

Its ok and the rooms are nice after updating. Onsite bar/restaurant is decent. However, noise from building work on floor below created some disturbance from before 730 am and makes public areas less presentable. We weren't informed of the building work until after booking. Also the hotel offers daily room servicing but only on request, which we were also not informed of. Car park is very busy & seems to be used for waiting by taxi drivers as there is no access control. Very reasonable room rates overall that probably take into account the above.
