Wonderful hotel

We have never met such happy and helpful staff anywhere like this hotel! They are a really great team from reception and dining to cleaning staff. Well done!! A great hotel in the most stunning setting! We have had the perfect stay! Great walks around the lakes and mountain opposite. Literally minutes walk into beautiful Grasmere. Particular thanks to Moses, Aiden and Amber for spoiling us!

Excellent Hotel with Great Views

It was a one night stay and we were welcomed from the very beginning and given helpful information on local attractions by Mohammed at the reception. The tepidarium, sauna and steam room were excellent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

最高の立地と朝夕食が旨いホテル　再訪したい

グラスミアーの湖面に面していて最高の環境であった。食事も旨く、夕食付きの予約は、お得だった。レストランの若い女性の給仕達が喧しいこと、シーツが5日間替えられなかったこと、ランドリーサービスが無いこと、駐車場側の部屋だったので、眺望がいまいちだったことが残念だった。

What a lovely hotel! Situated close to the beautiful town of Grasmere, and on the edge of the lake which was so picturesque you could sit and watch the view for hours - we did this whilst sipping a drink on the outside seating area. The spa was a perfect way to relax after a day of walking. We got the bus to walk the Fairfield Horseshoe but there are so many other walks to choose from (the bus stops are a fee meters away in either durection). In relation to the hotel it was clean, the rooms were lovely (we upgraded from the standard one) and the beds were comfy. The hotel staff were friendly and very attentive. There waa a great breakfasf choice and extra options were available to be cooked outside if the hot and cold buffet range. We had an evening meal which was also delicious. The only issue we had was I thought I had booked a 60 min spa treatment but in fact I hadn't. My fault but feel like the website could be updated and the email confirmation provide clearer timings i.e., the length of treatment and not just the start time as I would have realised my mistake. Appreciate this is a me problem, not them, so don't let this stop you from booking... I definitely recommend this hotel and will return myself sometime soon.

Great property, lovely room, and the food was excellent. Let down a bit by inconsistent messaging through staff. High turnover is inevitable in this part of the world and the ethos of delivery of high standards is not maintained through the core of the staff. I feel that some clear and consistent messaging needs to be passed throughout the staff. It’s no doubt a difficult issue but it is one that managers need to address if they are going to reach higher standards. Really enjoyed my stay all the same. Food was right up my street, unpretentious and downright yummy.
