My recent stay at the Millennium Hotel Durham was disappointing. The room definitely needed some attention — the bathroom door was off its track, and the privacy curtains didn’t close properly. Housekeeping wasn’t much better; they replaced the towels but didn’t make the bed or empty the trash.
When I brought this up to the person at the front desk during checkout, his response was, “I don’t know anything about that,” which wasn’t very reassuring. Overall, the hotel felt poorly maintained, and the service didn’t meet the level I expected.
