Amazing views of the ocean and the city.. walking distance to Hamamatsu Castle… across street from Music Museum… good food close by.. nice city not as busy as Tokyo. Super convenient for rail travellers.

I really like Okura Hotel. It’s super convenient to get to from the station. Has a small mall attached to it and selection of restaurants in close proximity. No real need to go into the centre, unless you want a change of scenery. Frankly speak the hotel is starting to age a little, but it’s still quite grand and the views are exceptional given its size.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. We were able to drop off our luggage in 5 minutes. When we finally checked in they were professional and tried hard to speak English. There is a Family mart attached to the hotel which was very convenient.
