Wouldn’t recommend staying here

The a/c Would not work and going took a shower the hot water would continuously go cold. The bedding was all dirty and the staff was so obnoxious annoying every time we left our room we were asked are you checking out? And the food was nasty for breakfast

My stay was not great. The room smelled like mildew. The tub was dirty and the room was dusty. The breakfast food was not hot the employee brought a pan of eggs from the back they were luke warm.

Don’t expect anything great.

Check in was ok but we were told we had to put a deposit of $150 down because we booked though a 3rd party site. We had 5 in our room and when we asked for another towel, we were told they didn’t have any. Stayed for 3 days and they never had any breakfast and we were always told they had no towels. Was close to Kings Island, that was the only good thing about this hotel. Beds were hard and uncomfortable.

The pictures online do not accurately represent this hotel. We had booked for 3 nights but could not last even an hour here. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. Lawn was overgrown, stains on the sheets, raggedy doors, ect..We canceled our stay but still paid for one night, but they charged us twice with one charge for $400! We tried to dispute it with them, but they said they don’t even know what the charge was for and could not help us. Horrible place, horrible customer service. Just bite the bullet and stay at the Residence Inn next door.

Bad business practice, room needs updates/cleaning

At check-in the clerk asked for a credit card to cover “incidentals”, only to find out later that they charged $150 to my card as a “deposit”. The $150 deposit was never mentioned to me & I had already paid in full for my room through the hotels.com app. Still waiting for a refund. The room needed some maintenance & better cleaning. The bathtub faucet was not connected so you had to hold it still with one hand & pull the button up with the other to turn the shower on. There were long hairs stuck on the shower wall. One of the headboards was covered in a greasy film right above the pillows. (Thank goodness I had Clorox wipes with me to clean it off!) The wardrobe had a disgusting smell inside. The lid to the ice bucket had food stuck to the inside.
The faucet was not attached to the tub, so you had to hold it still with one hand while you pulled the button up to turn the shower on.
The headboard was covered in a greasy film.

Tolerable

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. We liked that the hotel was close to Kings Island. Our first room was not clean. As we walked into the room, it was very hot and muggy. The bed spread had a questionable red stain on it. The wall was disgusting and the couch cushion was stained as well. The front desk was very nice and accommodating when we asked for a new room. They had us in a new room right away and immediately started servicing our previous room. The only issue we had with the new room was that one of the wash cloths had some weird black stain on it. Otherwise, we all had a hot shower and slept great after a long day at Kings Island. I can’t comment on breakfast because, we slept through it. Check out was quick and seamless.

Not recommendable

The pictures on the internet made the place look better than it was. We were supposed to stay two nights but only chose to stay one night. It was loud outside our room and throughout the night there was a sound that made it sound as if someone was trying to open the door. At one point the noises were so loud my child asked if our door was open.

Room was okay. Location great. Pool area gross the water was green and there were wads of hair in the pool and on the ground and it smelled. They ran out of coffee and waffle mix during breakfast.
