What went well: the person who checked us into the front desk was amazing and polite and attentive and excellent. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and we have a really tall ceiling, which was lovely and the beds were comfortable.
What wasn't great: the bathroom in our particular room look like it was mid renovation and that wasn't acknowledged at all either with a sign or with information to check in. The shower was passibly clean, there were tiles missing, the water pressure in sink toilet and tub was erratic and weird with pipes making insane noises. The bathroom wall ceiling and toilet had damage and holes. The room was great but the bathroom was pretty terrible. Maybe ours was just an in progress room? A small "excuse our mess, we're renovating" sign would have gone a long way. (Not faulting anyone doing the work because it was clear work was being done all over the property, but thinking as a manager that might be a nice way to convey to your guests that they didn't just get a faulty room.)
