Would not stay again

I had reserved a king room, but because we had a dog we were put in a room with two double beds. I understand needing rooms specifically for pets, but it smelled awful. I killed 3 wasps, idk where they came from. The pool left a lot to be desired. The white part wasn't very white. The hot tub jets didn't work and there was a film on the top of the water and stuff floating in it. The staff was very friendly, but was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people during the holiday weekend with only one person working the desk.

Bedbugs and hotel does NOT want to give refund !!!

Checked in, gave a $150 deposit, got to my room and walking on a pillow was a fat female bedbug. Only means eggs were laid somewhere in the bed. I notified front desk and requested a refund, they said I could not get a refund because I had booked through a third party. Then started to gaslight me saying the were summer bugs and that she ( receptionist) had not seen a bedbugs when she checked the room. She told me she looked everything on the bed and found nothing. Husband was waiting for her in the room and says she did not move anything on the bed, just looked in the corners of the bed. Then her and the manager had a conversation over the phone and I could hear her telling him the sheets in the picture were white but that it looked like a summer bug. Exactly what would I gain from showing a picture of a bedbug and requesting a refund if it wasn’t true??? We had been driving for over 10 hours and all we wanted was a decent bed to sleep in. Long story short , left to another hotel with NO refund and they didn’t even want to release my $150 for incidentals from my CC, receptionist stated she had zero authority to do that. Room 226 to be exact !

Not worth the few dollars saved

We booked two double bed rooms for our family after seeing the lower rates and reviews that seemed good. The front desk staff were kind and willing to help with any needs, but that is my only positive. The rooms were so small that we had trouble fitting a pac-n-play for our toddler anywhere except infront of the door. There is no tub, just a walk in shower. The toilet door was a sliding door and easy to pinch fingers. The walls were dinged up and scratched. The halls were dark and musty. The breakfast was not the best but it did save us from going out for food. The pool light was broken and had signs to stay away from it. The pool itself was dirty- dirt on the bottom and goant hair clumps floating on the surface. The hot tub was colder than the pool and the staff would not make it warmer or turn on the jets. Our keys were deactivated in the middle of our stay and the AC in one of our rooms kept randomly shutting off and the surge protector tripping. It was definitely a cheap stay but not worth the few dollars we saved. Won't return.

I have stayed here multiple times over the last few years and have always found the staff - from front desk to cleaning personnel to breakfast personnel - to be courteous and friendly and eager to help. The rooms are always clean. One suggestion would be to change up the breakfast menu every couple days.

Great local get away.

Everything was great, except, due to prior incidents, the hot tub is just that, no jets or air. Still felt wonderful, since we don't have a tub at home, but jets should be on.

2nd worst stay ever

Hotels.com did not clearly state the details of the property nor that I would have to pay a $250 deposit for the room upfront the room they put us in at first smelled like a boys gym locker that set all summer long without being cleaned, the TV didn’t work They put us in another room that didn’t smell much better, but at least there wasn’t pot being smoked in the rooms next-door, as they were on the first floor in a no smoking facility.
