Room 101 (and probably others) is infested with bedbugs. Based on the photos and details that I uploaded to Grok (AI), it estimates that the infestation appears to have been active for several months or possibly years.
Some of the photos showed red blood staines and bedbug fecal matter including on the far side of the king bed sheet, indicating that the sheets had not been laundered since the previous guests were bitten by bedbugs there. That lack of basic hygiene is likely what started the bedbug infestation in the first place.
The lack of hygiene and maintenance is also seen in the heavy urine/grime buildup around toilet base, filthy carpet, broken/missing shower-wand holder, and peeling paint.
At approximately 11:00 PM on December 7, 2025, I reported the infestation to the night manager and requested an immediate room change. It was apparent from the manager’s reaction and complete lack of surprise that he was already aware of the bedbug problem in this room.
He refused to move me or take the room out of service, stating the only option was for me to leave the property immediately (with a refund to be issued at a later date). Because I had been dropped off and had no transportation at that hour, I was forced to remain in the infested room for a second night and sustained many more additional bites.
It’s really gross.
