When I arrived, there was an issue with my reservation with the owner - the problem was on their side. The owner was sincerely apologetic and arranged alternate lodging that was actually better for my needs.

Very comfortable overnight stay. Was so pleased to meet Michelle who was helpful from start to finish. She arranged for taxi pick up at the airport and the next day to the water taxi. On arrival she went through all I needed to know for my short time in Belize City. The room and bed was comfortable with a kitchenette and really good airco. Located close to restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the tourist area where cruise ships are.

We had an issue with a regional power outage when we arrived. The property manager was exceptionally accommodating in assisting us with finding another hotel that could accommodate us at the last minute and also arranged transportation. She went above and beyond

Michelle is a great host. Her place is walking distance from the water taxi. We visited the nearby museum and had a lovely dinner nearby. The bed is listed as a queen but in fact is a nice big king and very comfy.

Your home away from home in Belize

These guys are amazing! First let me say the room was so inviting and comfortable. It was clean, the AC worked great, it felt quite safe and the evenings were very quiet. More than the comfort of the accommodation, the owner herself was just wonderful. She reached out to me prior to my visit to make sure I had transit into town, helped me find a taxi back to the airport even though I was no longer staying with them, and allowed me to store my heavy dive equipment while I took a small side trip to San Ignacio at no extra charge. It really was like a home away from home! I genuinely could not recommend San Angel's more highly!

Michelle is a gracious hostess. Stayed on arrival and also the night before returning home. Felt safe. Neighborhood can be noisy but we’d stay again. Convenient to the water taxi, shops, restaurants & bars. Rooms were clean & well appointed.

This is a great spot for a night or two in Belize City. The staff is wonderful and Michelle ensures your stay is comfortable. Excellent location and the room is nice with more amenities than a standard hotel room. Would definitely stay there again.
