Not Changed

Room had 2 gallons of roach spray on counter, a pile of damp towels in closet, bottle of disinfectant on tub, hair in toilet, room smelled like old grease all weekend. Key card not keyed correctly, had to go back to desk for new keys. Requested 1st floor, got 3rd floor. Have to bring towels to desk to replace if wanted, hallway with hole under carpet on 3rd floor, and mgr using foul language after we left check in with another individual. Grounds with cig butts and as we walked in each night, smell of "drug" so strong!

Definitely do NOT recommend!!

I have no words....we turned into the parking lot and immediately could smell marijuana. Upon entering the building, the odor was even stronger and throughout the entire building/elevator the odor was consistent. The lady working the front desk was more concerned about taking another bite of her dinner before assisting me to check in. Upon entering our room there was a sticky substance on the counter tops, the trash hadn't been completely emptied, and the bed looked as if it was made in a hurry. If we weren't completely exhausted from our drive, we would've looked to stay somewhere else. Thankful we just had to stay one night and then could get the heck out of there.

Never again

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed. The air conditioning went out on a 95 degree day , the elevator was super loud and it jumped a couple inches when the doors opened. I’m not sure what was worse, the smell of weed in the hallways or the smell of burnt beans someone was cooking.

Decent

I like that the room service is only after you leave unless requested. The first day it smelled a bit odd and the elevator always did, but it was a bit better after day one. The staff was super friendly and told me if there was no parking for the electric car charging and there were cars there not charging to let them know, but we never encountered this - there was always at least one spot for us to use. The bed was very loud, so any time you moved even a little it was a bit nuts. Also loud outside early Monday, morning, but overall good. I'd stay there again. The room was clean and there was a mini kitchen in case we'd wanted to eat there.

I can overlook the 5 baby black and brown roaches I killed and the German cockroach that was in my bed when I cam back from the bathroom, but the drunken loud party with music in the room next door on our last night that started at 230AM literally ran us out of the hotel. We called the office for an hour with no answer, then finally called corporate. They called and were able to reach the front desk. The front desk and a visit from the police were ineffective at stopping the noise and at 5AM (with only 2.5 hours of sleep) we had had enough, so we packed up our stuff and checked out at 7AM. The hotel refused to refund us for this night. Our plan was to sleep in and get up at 930 for 11AM checkout, then do our 7 hour drive to our next hotel. Totally unacceptable.

The rooms were nothing to write home about. There was a spider in the tub. Not that big of a deal but show how often the room was used. My overall impression was you get what you pay for.

The property worked for our short stay for the Derby. The room was fairly clean with limited amenities due to it being an extended stay place. Staff had limited availability for more towels etc. the property stated no smoking but there was a smell coming from some rooms of tobacco and marijuana. Overall, I would prefer to stay at a different location next time.

Entire place smells like Indian food. Whole place is kinda trashy to be honest. The room was very mediocre, thermostat didn't work, and smelled like hot Indian food all night. I wish I was joking. Questionable people staying here. I wouldn't recommend. Unfortunate that I didn't spot the issues before booking.

I would not recommend the facility for anyone wanting to feel comfortable in and out of their room. First the parking lot is in need of repair and people fixing their cars there left gave us a weird feeling. The way people were just hanging out almost made us not even want to go inside. The lobby is very tiny, not much bigger than a bathroom. Noone was at the counter other than two foreigner customers. Then I fifth drunk customer walks in carrying a bag from the convenience store next door which I can only imagine is alcohol. He walks past the two foreigners and trying to be funny makes a remark towards one of them but we all took his remark as a racist slur. Finally a lady comes to the counter to help but she is with a young child. I understand being a single parent but she was obviously more concerned with him than helping us. The two foreigners needed toiled paper so she let the boy run down the hall to get them their supplies watching him all the way paying us no attention. When it was our turn to get check in the process was interrupted whenever the boy needed something. Walking towards our room the hallways felt cramped dim and uninviting. Upon immediately entering the room we locked our door thinking we would just settle in for the night. With paper thin walls we could hear kids running around in the room above us all night and people next door and in the hall. Bathroom floor was terrible we walked on towels.
