Beautiful cozy place

This place is a solid 10/10. The views are stunning and it feels exactly like the Alaska experience every tourist hopes for. Hammocks, mountain backdrops, a lawn full of flowers, and a restaurant to dine in—it has it all. Plus, it’s close to Matanuska Glacier. Definitely a spot I’d add to the must-visit list.

It is a beautiful location. We stayed in a small cabin which was cute and perfect for 1 night. Our only complaint would be the smell. They must use a holding tank underneath the cabin and it must have been full. It was quite odorous by the time we got up in the morning. Otherwise, it was clean and the main lodge is beautiful!

Staff very helpful. As a small lodge and the only accommodation along a very remote route, they offered very personalized service. Property is clearly aging but well maintained and clean. The view drinking morning coffee was unmatched!

The room and bed were great. The staff was rude and offensive at checkout. Asked where we were from, then made rude and offensive comments about our state called our state and went further to ask what part of the state and then made rude comments about women in our state. we will not be back or recommend this lodge.

Basic Room Basic Stay

The location of this property is awesome, and view is peaceful but the room we booked was tiny, there were nails sticking out of the carpet that hurt me, the air-conditioning was not working as well - I booked the basic room and that is definitely what i got. There is a common area like a living room that people are hanging out at - so make sure you are comfortable with that. Nothing against the property - just level your expectations that the stays is very basic and i would compare it a motel experience.

Bonito por fora. Precário por dentro!

Lugar lindíssimo! Vistas deslumbrantes! No entanto, caro pelo que oferece. Tem restaurante, mas com horário limitadíssimo; tem café-da-manhã, mas pago por fora (e caro!). O quarto é bem limpo, mas espartano. Não dá pra perdoar a falta de, pelo menos, uma mesa e cadeira.

En principio nos dieron una habitación que olía muy mal, lo comentamos y nos dieron otra, pero esta que olía un poco menos, no funcionaban la mitad de las luces,y la cama incómoda, había cables por el suelo, la verdad es que es un poco viejo, desde mi punto de vista no le vendría mal una reforma.
