On Sunday morning around 4:30 AM, the guest and myself were awakened by a fire alarm in which fire rescue did respond to. The staff made no apologies for the incident, which turns was a false alarm. I was not aware there was a fee to park at the hotel, for the price of the stay, parking should be free. Since this is a pet friendly hotel, staff should really do a better job at cleaning the rooms, my room smelled like a wet dog! That was really disappointing.

Walked into the check in area and the front desk was unoccupied. Waited around 10 mins and someone finally came out . Should’ve left out a sign out to let the guest know at least. A lady came out while I was sitting there waiting . Not even acknowledging that I’m there and walked into the door and return to the front desk . I wasn’t sure if she works here so I asked her . She stated that she works here and asked me what is it that I need . I believe the attitude and tone should be a bit better since it’s about customer service. I went to the car and grab my stuff and noticing she was on the phone already . I guess that’s more important.

Dirty room

The room was absolutely disgusting.. nothing was cleaned.. there was smudged hand prints all over the bathroom door.. make up smeared on the toilet seat and sink.. and the comforter on the bed was absolutely disgusting and dirty.. the tub was completely stopped up n woudlnt drain properly.. and the AC never got cold and it turned off in the middle of the night and the room got uncomfortably hot even though the temp was set low

Simply Disappointed - can add pics later

having stayed here in the past on multiple occasions (pre-Covid) we chose to stay here again based on previous experience. This was a sad mistake. The property (or at least our rooms) were in sad states of dis-repair; ceiling plaster falling off, tubs with no stoppers to give the little ones a bath, towel fixture falling off the walls AC Roaring like a truck with little cooling power and a mattress you could feel every coil within. Had I know they had turned themselves over to being a low-budget Work Crew hacienda that has no self-esteem, I would have gone elsewhere. Property was littered with trash and debris. Folks sitting on the back curb drinking

Ok for a Pit stop

The hotel was ok. The room was "clean" it was vacuumed, and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was in need of help, the molding around in and around the shower was cracking and/or had mold that had been cleaned but still showing, the sink didn't drain and at one point during the night a chunk of the ceiling fell. The door was difficult to open from the outside, and I needed housekeeping to show me how to open it. The staff was efficient. It was alright for the quick turnaround I had moving through town.

This is the nicest La Quinta hotel I’ve ever been to. The Night Shift auditor was very nice and was able to help me with a weird accommodation with my stepdad and I, since we are traveling to see my mom in the hospital on different days she was respectful, and the facility itself was actually Very nice in comparison to the La Quinta that I’ve been to before. I also like that it’s right at a boat marina so to me that’s super peaceful.

August Frightfest!

They originally put us in the second building on the top floor on opposite ends of the building, which was fine, until we got there and the elevator didn’t work. Okay, no big deal. After carrying 2 car loads of items up 3 fights of stairs with a toddler I go to check on my mom in her room only to notice there was mold EVERYWHERE. So after talking to the agent running the front desk, who was so friendly and very clearly overwhelmed, he switched my mom into the main hotel. Cool problem solved. Then I went back to the room reserved for my family of 4 only to find the room was filthy and when we shut off the light, the lampshade was also covered in black mold. If that’s not bad enough, my husband woke the next morning to find roaches in our bathroom. We then talked to the desk clerk and she was so wonderful! She immediately took our concern and did everything she could to make it right. The point is that no one seemed surprised by our concerns and that’s a problem. Decently priced should not mean allowing people to stay in conditions that could cause people to get sick.
