Third week here. The recurrent problem is with the maid service. The maids we encountered do not speak English well, if at all, so they do not understand what you are saying. For instance, they did not understand come in and make the beds, so they left. They do not understand come back in an hour. Their cleaning and replenishment of bathroom toiletries - towels, toilet paper, shampoo, is inconsistent and lacking. We have called the front desk to report and we usually have a maid show up after calling, but not always. And again, they usually do not completely replenish the bathroom supplies.
Otherwise, the hotel is very nice! Service and cleanliness on the entire first floor (check-in, restaurant, bar) has been excellent.
