2 small pillows on a king size bed. Shower was dirty and very slippery warm water never got hot. Tv was broke. Outlets on lights were broke. No iron but had ironing board. Ac/heat ancient very small towels. Sink stopped up

The room was very dirty. Stains on sheets and walls. Mold in the bathroom. Door to the room was broken and was hard to get the latch to lock. Only the desk light would turn on. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are desperate for a place to sleep

If I could give this place a -100 Stars I would! I would not suggest this place to sleep unless it is your ULTIMATE LAST RESORT!! If you cannot find a Walmart bathroom, your back seat is full, and you cannot sleep in your car, a rest area that is unavailable, or anywhere else on earth that is not available and you have to find a place to live, this should be your very last resort. This makes the Bates Motel a 5 star hotel. For anyone that is a "it's just a one night or a couple nights" person, do not say that for this apocalypse style hotel. - The pool doesn't work, it is shut down! They are not working on it. It looks like a scene from The Walking Dead. - The pictures are ALL MISLEADING. We checked in, which was handled by a very unprofessional, and rude gentleman. The first room smelled like smoke and body odor, mold, there were cigarette burns on the comforter, dirty sheets and was just a mess. We didn't get pictures of the first room and we should have. We got into a different room which was better, but still a mess. More mold, failing and discolored ceiling, dirty, this room did smell like smoke but didn't smell as bad. Burns in the comforter. The pillows were yellow and granted it could have been from bleaching, however the way the rest of the room looked, I wouldn't count on it. The shower is the worst. There was more pressure in the sink than the shower. The water was cold, and the water pressure was non existent.

DO NOT stay here. the pictures on here are lies

This has to be one of the worst places to stay that I have ever seen a broken down creepy waterpark inside broken windows exterior doors that don’t even have handles dirty stinky light switches didn’t work the front desk staff naturally was on his phone the entire time chatting with someone else in another language. Crap everywhere just I don’t know anyone that would want to stay here unless it was a homeless person, needing a shower and a bed. I took one look at the waterpark which was right outside the door, open the door with the fridge hanging out, totally smelling and went right back to the front desk and told him that I would not stay here and would like my money back and of course he wanted to know why, so I told him the many many reasons I can’t believe they’re even allowed to be open. .

The property looks abandoned. The room looks nothing like what is advertised. The roof of the room shows water damage, the room smells, NO REFUND!!!!! The bathroom looks to be falling apart. If you want a comfortable safe place, this is not it. The hotel has over 100 rooms and it may only be 5 rooms being used by guest that has to stay due to not being able to get a refund. When I walked in the room, linen was on the floor and front desk had to come and retrieve it. Towels looked dirty, AC barely worked properly, lamp light only had one bulb that worked. For a single individual, I do not recommend in my opinion.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO (0) STARS I WOULD RATE THIS HOTEL 0⭐️🚫! 👎FALSE ADVERTISING BY HAVING PICS OF THE INDOOR WATERPARK & POOL ON THE WEBSITE...WASN'T JUST CLOSED, BUT ABSOLUTELY NO WATER IN SIGHT! (TOOK PICS FOR PROOF.) NOTIFIED THE FRONT DESK REGISTRATION STAFF OF THIS & HE SAID, "NO POOL OR WATERPARK IN A FEW YEARS."...NO APOLOGY, NO ROOM DISCOUNT OFFER WHEN ASKED FOR A DISCOUNT DUE TO FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. THE BATHROOM LIGHT BUZZED & FLASHED SO BAD ( ELECTRICAL FIRE HAZARD) WE COULDN'T USE THE LIGHT AT ALL. (TOOK VIDEO FOR PROOF.) COULD ACTUALLY FEEL THE FLOOR (1ST FLOOR, GROUND LEVEL) MOVING UNDERNEATH OUR FEET BC IT WAS SO UNSTABLE. ROOM SMELLED OF MILDEW. NOTIFIED CHECKOUT STAFF OF THESE ISSUES PRIOR TO LEAVING, JUST SAID, "OK." STAYED HERE SEVERAL TIMES DURING BASEBALL TOURNAMENTS PRIOR TO COVID & HAD NO COMPLAINTS...WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE NOW! NOT SURE IF IT'S UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, BUT DEFINITELY NEEDS MUCH IMPROVEMENTS, ESPECIALLY FOR ELECTRICAL HAZARDS & POTENTIAL INJURY FOR UNSTABLE FLOORS. (BOOKED VIA HOTELS.COM, WHICH ALSO HAD THE SAME OUTDATED PICS. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but it could have been better. My comforter was dirty & we didn’t realize it until right before check out. Also, the cover for the bed had obvious burn holes from cigarettes. The room was humid and smelled musty, and it wasn’t completely clean. We found hair that wasn’t ours in the shower. It was convenient to get to, and the staff was friendly. I just wish it was cleaner.

Absolutely unacceptable experience

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and prepaid $300 for a two-night stay. When we arrived, the front desk said they had no record of our reservation. They asked for an additional $56 to stay for one night and said we’d need to come back in the morning to try booking the second night. I showed them email confirmation, including details about a security deposit, but they refused to acknowledge it, wouldn’t answer questions, and kept insisting I swipe my card again without explanation. The property was in extremely poor condition. The pool was drained and surrounded by boxes. The men’s bathroom had a urinal torn off the wall, and the trash was overflowing with fire extinguisher tags. The building looked unsafe—walls were visibly bowing, windows were broken, and none of the rooms had curtains. We also saw people loitering near the building, which added to the feeling of insecurity. Because we were traveling with our two-year-old, we made the difficult decision to leave. All other hotels nearby were booked due to local graduations, so we drove through the night. We received no service and were left with no safe place to stay. This hotel should not be listed on any booking site until major safety and service issues are resolved. It was completely misrepresented online and should not be offered as a lodging option in its current state.
