I recently stayed at The Graham Hotel with my family of four, and while there’s a lot of potential here, we left feeling disappointed with a few aspects of our stay.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated on a beautiful street that makes it easy to explore the area. This was definitely a highlight for us, as it provided great access to local attractions and restaurants.
Unfortunately, the room didn’t live up to the expectations set by the location. The space was quite run-down, with wall coverings that looked tired and worn. It felt like the room could really use an update to match the charm of the building itself.
We had booked a double room, but there were only two towels for our family of four. Given that we had just an hour to take showers before starting our day, we contacted housekeeping but didn’t receive additional towels in time, which was frustrating. This simple issue could easily have been avoided with more attention to guest needs.
Another area for improvement is the coffee situation. We went to the lobby in the morning hoping to grab a quick cup, only to be told we had to go next door to a local store. While we understand supporting local businesses, offering self-serve coffee in the lobby would be a nice, convenient touch for guests. We also tried to make coffee with the Lavazza machine in the room, but unfortunately, the coffee wasn’t great, and to top it off, all the pods were decaffeinated, which was a bummer.
