We arrived early and had requested an early check in but this was not available. We were able to leave our cases at the hotel while we went to the theatre though.
When we arrived back to the hotel I had requested and paid in advance for balloons “celebration” package to be added to the room, which was chargeable for £10. In the room were 6 latex balloons on the bed, which was quite disappointing considering it was a chargeable service.
The pool was also a little disappointing at £15pp to have a swim. And my son, who had been charged as an adult for the reservation at the hotel, was then told he was a child in the leisure centre and couldn’t swim till after 9am, when swimming lessons were taking place. This wasn’t great as we had planned to go for an early morning swim before our plans for the day.
The room itself was small, but the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The guide on the Tv didn’t work, so it was a guess to find a program to watch.
Complimentary water and cold glasses in the fridge, which was nice.
Breakfast was nice, food was hot. Usual breakfast options. Restaurant was clean.
We have stayed in many hotels in London including this one on numerous occasions, but this time overall for the amount we paid, just under £350 for one night, we wouldn’t return.
