Great family stay for USJ!

Amazing hotel for our family of 6, this is my second time staying here and will surely be back. Nice and spacious room, great onsen spa, and really good breakfast. And it’s right next to Sakurajima station so you can either take the train to USJ or it’s a 10min walk there if you feel like a stroll.

Ok for non-locals; we stayed 4 nights for our Osaka trip, and though it is located close to Universal, it is far from everything else in Osaka. Room cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and room service is not offered. Hotel is catered mostly for locals.

Even though this hotel was the longest walk from USJ we liked the look of the facilities but I wish we had booked a different hotel. Room was lovely but you could easily hear noisy guests in the hallways and people snoring in the next room. The spa baths were in the same level as the restaurant so it wasn’t uncommon to see embarrassed people trying to weave their way discreetly through the long, boisterous and jostling crowds of people who were waiting to get a table for breakfast. There were no other options for breakfast or dinner. Room service wasn’t offered. Dinner was a similar experience. Long lines, no tables, no alternatives and no room service or mini bar. So grateful 7-11 was next door it saved us on both occasions. Between the noise, facilities we couldn’t use and not enough dining options we would rate our stay as very mediocre. Very unhappy.

Liber Hotel-great 4 star hotel

I typically prefer staying at Marriott or Hyatt Hotels, and I chose this hotel primarily for its 5-star rating and its proximity to Universal Studios Japan. The location and amenities definitely met my expectations. For instance, there were no bathrobes in the bathroom, and the towels provided were quite small and thin. Although I was able to request additional towels, I believe offering more comfortable and higher-quality towels as standard would enhance the experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible onsen, which was a big factor in my choice of hotel. The buffet breakfast was also impressive, with a wide array of Japanese dishes; however, I noticed that the selection of Western options was limited. I would recommend diversifying the breakfast offerings to cater to a broader range of tastes. I appreciated the convenient laundromat on the third floor, which had plenty of available machines. Additionally, purchasing tickets for the aquarium and expo at the front desk was hassle-free, as was securing bus shuttle tickets to the airport, which were reasonably priced at 1,800 yen each (under $12.50). While the room itself was spacious, I did miss having nightstands on either side of the beds, and the beds could have been more comfortable. I also noticed some stains on the carpet that detracted from the overall presentation. The layout of the bathroom, with a separate toilet from the sink and shower, was a bit inconvenient. I would stay here again.

チェックイン対応の男性が酷すぎました。我々が素泊まりだからか、明らかにまわりのお客さまへの対応と違いました。 大浴場の使用方法の説明一切無し。 事前に送った段ボールも我々には台車もなしで渡され、自分たちで台車を引っ張って部屋へ移動しました。 朝チェックアウトのとき、荷物が多いので、フロアにいたホテルの男性に見ていてもらえるか頼んだところ、了承していただいたので、チェックアウトをしに行きましたが、戻ってみると、荷物だけが置き去りになっており、お願いした方がいませんでした。荷物が誰にも取られなかったので何も言わず立ち去りましたが、後から考えると不満が残りました。 宿泊をとても楽しみに来ましたが、サービスに関してとても惨めな思いをしました。とてもがっかりです。
