Rooma are insanely comfortable from the pillows and bed to the attention to detail in each room . Breakfast was nice, cookies at bedtime was a cute touch. Nice pool,lounge/ fire pit area was cozy . Waterfall was beautiful as well as the koi fish pond out front of the office! Beer/wine on tap sold by the ounce is always nice at the end of a long day! The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating. Everything was very much wonderful.

Awful experience would not go back. It was rated a 9.0 and no idea how or who would rate it that high. I stay at 9.0 and this wasn’t close. Dog poop in the parking area we stepped, the area isn’t clean. Cockroaches in the hotel room. Night worker in elevator with us after we checked in. It’s a motel so it was loud. Breakfast was not as good as other hotels I’ve stayed at with the fake hockey puck eggs it was very disappointing.charged me $35 for a small dog in a motel with hard tile floors so the hotel was way over priced.

The staff was super friendly. The linens were nice and clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom floor was not clean and the room was not attended for 4 nights. The 1 gallon waste basket was really too small . The noise level was annoying as children were actually screaming for hours. They did get put away at 10pm but when you're in town for a horse show and have to get up at 5... As far as eco friendly, styrofoam plates and cups are not wise.

The room was clean and updated. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. The quality of the television could have been better. We didn't use the pool, however other guests did and it looked very clean. It seemed like the hotel was located in a nice and safe area. The grounds of the hotel were kept neat and clean. The treadmill in the gym worked fine.

Now we know why I stick to name brand hotels. Equus Inn was just okay, barely. It's a motel. The beds were OK. The bathroom closet (with the shower and toilet) was a dark cave with a super loud fan when you turned on the light. Whoever chose those dark brownish stones for the shower floor made a bad call. Gross! Couldn't make myself step in there with bare feet, had to use my flip flops for shower shoes. No housekeeping service for 3 days - but they were sure to include an envelope in the room, asking for tips. For what, exactly? Sticking to name-brand hotels from here on out. After check in and based on a lot of the reviews, I was at least looking forward to the breakfast buffet in the morning. It made me sad. The menu: VERY dry egg 'patties', biscuits and gravy, box cereal, VERY tiny containers of yogurt, oranges, and TWO large coffee dispensers - both of which were EMPTY. No bacon or sausage links, no toast or bagels - just sad. After day 1 we didn't go back.
