I booked a room with double beds and a balcony. I was given a room with 1 bed, no Window no balcony. I asked about it and was lied to by the lady working the front desk. Called downstairs a dozen times to get WiFi password, no one ever answered the phone

Don't book

The place is a dump cheap hotel for the night as I am a uber driver and the price list is cheap. However, they will charge you a cheap rate and then ask for a 75 security deposit and not refund it. So the real price is the cost of the room plus the security deposit

Deception, drug dealers and stealing my room fee

New bicycle not allowed in room. Forced to leave outside in unsecure pool area. Told to leave by ma'am not in security uniform claiming to be security. And a man came in that earlier on the street in the AM was trying about his felonies and drug dealing!

When we got there a staff member just stared at us. Didn’t say anything at all. A man came out didn't greet us or anything. He was very strange. Asked for $75 deposit that was never mentioned. The pool was filthy. There was a broken jagged pole sticking out of the "jacuzzi" the room was gorgeous and renovated. Bed was super comfortable and large. The AC Wouldn't go below 71 at all. It was kind of hot. The hotel has a lot of potential. Its cute. I think they're in the middle of renovations maybe. I didn't really feel safe on the property though. I was afraid to leave anything important in the room. I was afraid my car was going to get broken into. Feeling safe is everything to me.

This Hotel is very unclean the only thing that is kept clean is the front lobby, the rooms are dilapidated and run down the pool is filthy the atmosphere is noisy with shady activities in the area.

Overall: Yes, recommended. Con’s: Not a place to take a walk after dark. Shallow amenities (microwave, fridge, breakfast). Daytime clerk was curt when we called to inquire. Pro’s: Very safe, secured gated parking and card key room. Quiet. Lobby fresh and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room clean for the most part. Night clerk, Anthony, very polite, professional, and incredibly helpful regarding places to see and eat. Short drive to the French Quarter. You get what you pay for. Our rating is largely based on security and proximity, NOT the amenities.
