Blackpool stay

Hotel looks like it’s being updated. Our room was small but had a great view. There was no wardrobe or hanging facilities for clothes. So they just stayed in the case. No bedside cabinets and only 1double socket for kettle etc. so no good for trying to charge multiple devices. But bed was clean & comfortable, plenty of tea & coffee etc and additional milk was given at reception when asked. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Dirty Bathroom!!!

The only benefit for this hotel is its Location. The rooms are dated. Stairs to the rooms feel like they are going to collaspe below you. Shower/ Bathroom was discusting. Really disapointed with the room. When arriving was told there was no parking. ( which we understood was first come first served) we then went and parked our car a mile away from the hotel paid for parking for the duration. On our return was told that parking would be available the following day. Overall we didnt let the state of the hotel ruin our break as the location was ideal but we wouldnt stay here again

Rooms unfortunately too hot.

Great hotel for price, only issue we had was the heat in the place but it did not ruin our trip. If you are only using to rest your head, I would defo recommend but if looking to stay in room for a lot of your trip maybe look at different hotel.

Updating required

In desperate need of an update. The whole place is so outdated, furniture has seen better days. The lift wasn't working and we found out later that it hadn't worked for a long time. Not ideal carrying things up stairs especially with the amount of things an 8.5 month old has. The room was missing blinds from the windows, furniture was peeling and chipped and one window was broken and let cold air in. On a positive note the place was relatively clean including the bathroom. And the bed was extremely comfortable. It's such a shame because a little bit of paint, some maintenance it would look a little better. It was a very cheap rate which is just as well because it's wasn't worth more than what we paid. Hotel was right in front of the waterfront and not too far a walk from eateries. Parking is available for £6. Staff were friendly but for what ever reason the restaurant was not open.

Booked for myself and 2 young grandchildren booked the swimming pool for 6pm earliest we could get went downstairs with 2 excited children only to be told after waiting in room for 1 and half hours that it had been closed nobody bothered to tell us booked the hotel on the basis that I could take my grandchildren swimming !! tv not working in room no connection no internet working ! Asked for compensation but heard nothing very disappointed

Overall stay was nice

It was a nice 2 star hotel. Unfortunately there was a few issues toilet seat was broken, mattress spring damaged mould in the bathroom, curtains damaged. Only one small window which isnt enough for air circulation. We went swimming the first day on the second day the pool was out of order. Judging by the reviews the lift has been out of order for a while now. Staff were extremely friendly

Needs some TLC

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. We stayed in room 105. It had a broken window, only 1/2 windows opened. The ceiling tiles some looked like they were going to come down. The shower had a faulty mechanism to turn it on and had cable ties to keep the shower chord attached. It had a broken chair which we reported to reception. The swimming pool was good and it was private so we booked it and no there families we in. Lots to improve on which wouldn't cost loads to upgrade the hotel as staff were helpful. Just needs some much loving investment into property.

Communal stairs in need of a hoover , cups were all dirty inside and when we asked for another one for the third person that cup had all dried sugar in the bottom . The bathroom had been updated but the rest of the room was run down , wallpaper hanging off and trouble locking and unlocking the door . Games room had 3 things working and the rest broken. Didn’t have breakfast so I couldn’t review on that . Bed was good.

I booked 2 rooms for my family, they give us at different floors request them again and again to change but they refuse and said if you booked from us then we can change it Honestly very dirty rooms. Toilet was not able to use. Tapes are broken , lift are not working and our rooms was at 4th floor

Bite off bugs and dirty

Booked a 2 day stay left after 1 day hotel was terrible and dirty. Got bit to death off bugs in the bed and room. Charged £10 to use the pool which is ridiculous considering we was staying there. Never stay again!
