We were initially taken aback by the steep, and narrow hill on which the B&B is situated. Parking was limited, so we ended up in a car park in town. After dragging our luggage up to the residence, we were out of breath. Inside, more steps up to the room. And, oh, what a room. Not large, but lovingly kitted out with Victoria-era style fittings. The pillows are a tad thick and firm. Hard to on the neck. We slept nine hours! Breakfast is a to-go bag in a tiny in-Rom fridge. Bananas, granola bars, cheese, croissants, yogurt, and juice. More than adequate. Overall, a surprise, and a delight.

What's not to like ?

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of in room amenities, very clean, lovely sitting room overlooking the bay, parking at the front door and 5 minutes walk from town centre. What's not to like !

Lovely home with rooms overlooking the harbour.

A lovely house converted to hotel with artwork and furnishings in the parlor that you would expect for its era. The room and bed were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of hot water. The host kindly met us at the door and made us feel right at home providing directions to the places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying here. Lovely hosts, so quaint, and gorgeous interiors with good amenities. Delighted to have a fridge, and to have the fridge filled with snacks. Parking is a challenge as the property is on a steep hill, and it's quite a steep walk to get to and from restaurants for anyone who might have limitations. It was the nicest place we stayed in whilst in Scotland.
