If thrills are what you're after, head to Window of the World, located 5.5 mi (8.8 km) from central Shenzhen. If you have fun at Window of the World, you'll love Chinese Overseas City and Happy Valley, both located nearby.
If a restful vacation is part of your travel plans, Dameisha Beach might be the perfect place to seek out during your trip to Shenzhen. While you're in the area, wander around the parks.
"This is the 3rd time I stayed at the hotel.
The hotel is very conveniently located with a big mall right beside it with so many restaurants inside to choose from. There is also a huge supermarket at the far end of the mall. The electronic market HuaQiang North is just like 5 minutes walk away.
The washing machine was not working in our room so we called the front desk. A technician came in a timely manner but was not quite able to figure out a solution and indicated the unit would need to be replaced. We thought there was no way the hotel would get us a new washer in time … maybe in a few days. Lo and behold!! We heard noises after about 30 minutes outside our door and went out to take a look. The technician came back with his lady supervisor, another staff AND a brand new washer! The supervisor tried some more testing and the washer was fixed on the spot. We were glad that the machine was fixed not requiring a new replacement but absolutely amazed by the fact that Fraser Suites would have spare washer for replacement at any time. Their staff was also very efficient.
We felt assured that there was always door person at the entrance of the hotel who greeted us warmly.
For room cleanliness, staff efficiency and accessibility, Fraser Suites would be my first choice of stay at Shenzhen.

"The hotel is in a great location, we stayed 5 nights. There is a mall attached to the hotel with a variety of restaurants and mid price stores. It’s a wonderful respite from the busyness of places like Cocopark or street vending. We found ourselves ending our days there for evening walks or snacks. There is also a very vibrant area less than two miles away with a ton of local restaurants, and dessert shops. We were very happy with our room cleaning person, our rooms were always cleaned very well and early in the day so we got to enjoy it more. The hotel has a very nice bar and lounge area, Dukes and Perch, they are connected. Live jazz singer Fri/Sat nights. You had to go look for it, it’s tucked away on the 3rd floor. Breakfast had good offerings of east and west selections, but it was busy and the tables were crowded, not like the calm and peace you expect from a Langham. "
"The amenities are excellent, and the room is very clean and modern. The surrounding area isn’t very close to major destinations, so you’ll need to call Didi to get around."
